What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Design, improve, and scale data ingestion pipelines to support continuous, high-volume AV sensor data flow.

  • Ensure system reliability and data integrity through monitoring, validation, and quality checks.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including infrastructure, perception, and ML—to optimize end-to-end data handling.

  • Reduce latency and improve performance across the ingestion stack.

  • Partner with AV development teams to understand evolving data needs and improve accessibility for model training and validation.

What We Need to See:

  • BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field—or equivalent experience.

  • 12+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.

  • Expertise in Golang and building distributed systems at scale.

  • Strong foundation in computer science fundamentals—data structures, algorithms, and systems architecture.

  • A track record of driving system performance improvements or cost optimizations in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).

Ways to Stand Out from the Crowd:

  • Passion for continuous learning and curiosity about cutting-edge technologies.

  • Prior contributions to open-source distributed systems or cloud-native data platforms.

  • Demonstrated ability to debug complex data issues across multiple services and layers.

  • Excellent communication, planning, and teamwork skills.

  • A mindset of ownership, quality, and continuous improvement.
