Pinewood.AI is seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer to help shape the future of our Automotive Intelligence Platform. With over 10+ years of development experience, you will bring both depth of expertise and a passion for building high-quality, impactful software solutions.

This role is hands-on and focused on development, solving problems, writing clean and efficient code, and delivering enterprise-grade solutions used by automotive retailers worldwide. You will work in a collaborative environment where Product Owners set direction, UI/UX experts handle design, and developers stay focused on building great products.

Based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, this is an exciting opportunity to join a growing global engineering organization and take a leading technical role in the continued development of the Pinewood Automotive Intelligence Platform, our enterprise-scale SaaS platform used by automotive retailers and OEMs around the world. Fort Lauderdale is the preferred location for this role, but we are open to fully remote candidates anywhere in the U.S. where their seniority, technical expertise, and overall experience are an exceptional match for the position.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and enhance enterprise-level software solutions using C#, .NET (Core/9), Razor, Web API, SQL Server, HTML, and JavaScript.
  • Own the full development lifecycle from initial design through to build, testing, and release.
  • Write high-quality, reusable, and efficient code with a focus on maintainability and scalability.
  • Diagnose and fix bugs, performance issues, and technical bottlenecks to ensure robust, reliable solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Owners, testers, and developers to deliver valuable features efficiently.
  • Contribute to architectural discussions and help shape long-term technical direction.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and bring forward new ideas and technologies to evolve the platform.
  • Share knowledge with peers and provide informal mentoring across the development team

Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in Microsoft-based software development.
  • Expert in C#, .NET / .NET Core, and SQL / T-SQL.
  • Strong experience with database design, performance optimisation, stored procedures, and queries.
  • Solid front-end skills with HTML, JavaScript, and Razor.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps or equivalent source control.
  • Experience with Visual Studio or VS Code.
  • Proven track record working in Agile environments with a pragmatic, efficient approach.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with a passion for clean, efficient code.


Desirable Experience:

  • Experience building large-scale enterprise or SaaS platforms.
  • Knowledge of the automotive industry or related enterprise software.
