  • Lead visual and copy development in, ensuring everything feels native and credible.

Community Engagement
  • Manage day-to-day community interactions across platforms-commenting, engaging, and building relationships with followers.
  • Act as the frontline of the brand in-market, responding to messages with a consistent, brand-right tone.
  • Partner with the CX team to ensure seamless customer hand-offs and timely response.

Influencer & Partner Marketing
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local creators, influencers, and ambassadors.
  • Lead local seeding, partnerships, and content collaborations that extend reach and drive relevance.
  • Collaborate with the global influencer team to align on strategy and performance.

Campaign & Performance Management
  • Execute organic and paid social media campaigns in partnership with digital and media teams.
  • Analyse performance metrics (reach, engagement, sentiment, traffic, conversions) and translate into clear insights.
  • Share monthly reports and recommendations to optimize performance and scale what works.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with regional and global marketing, creative, PR, and eComm teams to align campaigns and launch moments.
  • Contribute social POVs and trends to the wider team to influence brand creative and messaging.

Leadership & development
  • Lead, manage, and develop team members - whether direct reports or through cross-functional collaboration - to maximize performance, growth, and engagement

Demonstrate adaptability by effectively managing change and taking ownership of responsibilities beyond the core role when needed.
What You'll Bring
  • Demonstrable hands-on social media experience, ideally in consumer goods, lifestyle, or tech.
  • Proven success in growing social communities and creating culturally relevant content.
  • Deep understanding of social platforms, audience behaviours, and channel-specific best practices.
  • Experience managing influencer campaigns and creator partnerships.
  • Strong creative instincts paired with analytical thinking; you can turn insights into actionable plans.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
