Geode is seeking a Salesforce Senior Business Analyst who combines platform expertise with a strong ability to craft solutions that deliver business value. This role will design scalable Salesforce solutions, maintain and configure the platform, and serve as a liaison between business and technical teams. You will gather requirements, lead discovery sessions and translate business needs into functional, user-centric solutions while ensuring platform integrity and long-term scalability.
 
This role is based out of our office in Boston, Massachusetts and is required to follow the firm’s current hybrid work schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in-office, with the option to work Monday and Friday remote from home.
 
What You’ll Do:
Salesforce administration
  • Manage user provisioning, roles, profiles, permission sets, and sharing settings
  • Configure standard and custom objects, fields, page layouts, Lightning pages, and record types
  • Build and maintain automations (Flows, Process Builder, validation rules, approval processes)
  • Handle data imports/exports, mass updates, and develop reports/dashboards
  • Maintain sandbox environments, oversee release deployments, and perform regular platform audits
Solution design
  • Design secure, scalable, and high-performing solutions on Salesforce Sales Cloud
  • Develop and maintain design diagrams, data models, and system integration plans
  • Partner with internal data teams to ensure alignment on all inbound and outbound data flows
  • Assess new Salesforce features and recommend adoption plans that align with business goals
  • Guide the technical direction of Salesforce projects from ideation through delivery
Business analysis
  • Partner with stakeholders across sales, client service, finance, operations, and technology
  • Lead discovery sessions to understand pain points, workflows, and business needs
  • Translate complex requirements into clear user stories and functional specifications
  • Facilitate workshops and drive consensus between cross-functional teams
  • Create wireframes, process diagrams and documentation to support solution design
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and communicate technical concepts in business terms
Governance and continuous improvement
  • Promote system and data governance through clear standards and documentation
  • Identify areas for process improvement, automation, and cost reduction
  • Serve as the internal expert on Salesforce best practices, change management and release cycles
  • Stay up to date with Salesforce releases and ecosystem trends, sharing insights with teams
  • Provide hands-on support and training to help teams use Salesforce effectively
Skills You Bring:
  • 6+ years of hands-on Salesforce administration experience
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce declarative tools and configuration best practices
  • Demonstrated experience with Salesforce Lightning Experience including Lightning App Builder, Screen Flows, Record-triggered Flows, and Scheduled-triggered flows
  • Experience with conditional logic and object model concepts
  • Proven ability to analyze business problems and deliver effective Salesforce based solutions
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, workshop facilitation and documentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication. Able to influence, negotiate, and manage expectations
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Salesforce certifications: Administrator (preferred), Sales Cloud Consultant, Platform App Builder, or Architect
  • Experience with project delivery methodologies (agile, scrum, or hybrid)
  • Familiarity with integration platforms (Mulesoft / Snaplogic) and data tools (Data Loader, Workbench)
  • Experience working with internal development teams, data models, or integrated systems
  • Experience in regulated or data sensitive industries such as finance, healthcare, or legal
