Team Overview:

We’re looking for a Senior Business Operations Analyst to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of data, process, and strategy—and who wants to make a measurable impact on revenue growth, partner performance, and market expansion in a fast-moving IoT industry.

You will work cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Finance, and Order Management to improve our go-to-market operations, optimize pricing and inventory strategies, and drive intelligent decision-making at scale.

What You Will Do:
  • Build predictive models and dashboards using inputs from Sales, Product, and Operations, uncovering insights around channel trends, partner behavior, and future growth opportunities.
  • Deliver compelling data storytelling using visuals, metrics, and summaries that resonate with both technical and executive-level audiences.
  • Design scalable tools and repeatable processes that enhance sales execution, improve partner engagement, and drive revenue acceleration across multiple channels.
  • Lead end-to-end data operations—managing pipelines, forecasting, and reporting infrastructure tied to pricing models, inventory allocation, and revenue performance.
  • Respond to high-impact, time-sensitive requests for ad hoc business analysis that supports agile, strategic decisions.
  • Act as a strategic partner to internal stakeholders, helping translate business objectives into actionable operational plans.
  • Own key business operations processes that support our global sales organization, enabling leadership to make confident, data-informed decisions.
What You Will Bring:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, Information Systems, or related field—or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 years of experience in business operations, sales operations, business/data analysis, or a related role
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and optimize operational processes in complex, data-rich environments
  • Strong hands-on experience with Excel, SQL, Power Query, and Power BI (including DAX and M Language); ERD modeling is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize large datasets into clear business insights and reporting dashboards
  • Familiarity with multilayered sales channels, partner ecosystems, and metrics like TAM/SAM/SOM
  • Comfort working in ambiguous, evolving environments—able to validate, reconcile, and refine inconsistent data
  • Prior experience supporting sales organizations, preferably within multichannel or partner-based sales ecosystems

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
