SavvyMoney is a leading San Francisco East Bay fintech company. We provide integrated credit score and personal finance solutions to 1,600 + bank and credit union partners nationally. The SavvyMoney solutions integrate with more than 43 digital banking platforms.

SavvyMoney was recently recognized by the San Francisco Business Times and the Silicon Valley Journal as one of the "Top 25 Places to Work in the San Francisco Bay Area" and is an Inc. 5000 Fastest Growing Company.

SavvyMoney is seeking an accomplished, strategic, and results-driven Senior Sales Executive to lead new-logo acquisition across our largest and most strategic financial institution accounts. In this role, you will drive significant revenue growth by identifying and winning high-value new customer relationships, navigating complex enterprise buying processes, and positioning SavvyMoney as the partner of choice for leading financial institutions. You'll work collaboratively with our Strategic Partnerships, Solutions Engineering, and Executive teams to exceed new business targets and establish SavvyMoney's presence in key market segments.

This is a senior-level new-business role requiring proven mastery in enterprise sales and large-deal closing, not a high-volume transactional role. As a Sr. Sales Executive, you'll contribute strategic insights to the organization, mentor junior sales professionals on complex deal strategy, and have input into go-to-market decisions—working at the level of complexity and scope where each new customer relationship represents $5M+ in annual contract value and involves multi-year, enterprise-level commitments.

We are looking for a seasoned professional with a proven track record of overachieving on quotas who excels at strategic prospecting, navigating complex organizations, closing large new-business deals, and analyzing market dynamics to identify and capture high-value opportunities.

Key Responsibilities -

Strategic Prospecting & Market Targeting

  • Identify and qualify high-value new customer prospects aligned with SavvyMoney's strategic priorities and market segments

  • Develop targeted prospecting campaigns for named enterprise financial institutions, utilizing market research and competitive intelligence

  • Execute proactive outreach to C-suite and key decision-makers, building initial interest and positioning SavvyMoney as a strategic partner

  • Leverage industry relationships, referrals, and strategic partnerships to uncover and access new business opportunities

Enterprise New Business Sales & Deal Closure

  • Lead large, complex new business sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders, lengthy evaluation periods, and competitive bids

  • Deliver consultative, customized demonstrations and solutions positioning SavvyMoney as the best-fit strategic solution to enterprise challenges

  • Manage end-to-end new logo sales processes from initial discovery through contract negotiation and close

  • Negotiate and close new customer agreements with sophisticated financial institutions, representing significant annual contract value

  • Collaborate with Solutions Engineering, Product, and Executive teams to shape custom solutions that win new business and ensure successful implementation

Pipeline Management & Sales Execution

  • Build and maintain a robust new business pipeline representing 4-5x coverage of quarterly new logo targets

  • Forecast and track new business opportunities with precision, maintaining disciplined pipeline reviews and forecasting

  • Analyze sales cycle dynamics, win/loss patterns, and market trends to continuously refine prospecting and closing strategies

  • Execute against aggressive new business quotas, consistently meeting or exceeding targets quarter over quarter

New Business Quota & Performance

  • Maintain accurate, real-time pipeline data in Salesforce, leveraging analytics to optimize new business strategy and identify market gaps

  • Provide weekly new business pipeline updates and monthly business reviews to sales leadership, including win/loss analysis and market insights

  • Demonstrate continuous improvement in new business metrics, sales cycle length, win rates, and average contract value

Strategic Contribution & Team Leadership

  • Contribute to sales strategy development, market analysis, and go-to-market planning based on deep customer and competitive insights

  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior sales team members, sharing best practices and coaching on complex deal management

  • Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to inform account strategy and identify emerging opportunities

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to sales leadership on account strategy, pricing decisions, and competitive positioning

  • Represent the sales organization in cross-functional strategic discussions with product, partnerships, and executive leadership

What We’re Looking For -

Experience & Background

  • 7+ years of enterprise B2B new business sales experience in fintech, SaaS, banking, or financial services, with a demonstrated history of consistently exceeding new business quotas year-over-year

  • Proven track record closing large new customer deals with major financial institutions, with concrete examples of significant new logo wins and multi-year contract value

  • Deep expertise selling complex platform solutions, account opening systems, or integrated digital banking products—preferably to banks, credit unions, or digital banking platforms

  • Strong working knowledge of core banking platforms, digital banking ecosystems, and financial technology integration requirements

  • Consistent success closing large new customer contracts ($250K+ ACV preferred) in highly competitive, multi-vendor evaluation environments

  • Experience in strategic prospecting, market targeting, and identifying high-value new business opportunities at the enterprise level

  • Demonstrated market expertise and industry insight—ability to speak credibly about fintech trends, competitive landscape, and financial institution business priorities and buying patterns

Skills & Competencies

  • Expert-level communication, presentation, and executive negotiation skills

  • Advanced proficiency with Salesforce or similar enterprise CRM platforms

  • Strong business acumen with the ability to speak credibly to CFO, CTO, and C-suite priorities

  • Exceptional ability to research, strategize, and position solutions against competition

  • Consultative selling mindset with ability to understand customer business drivers and pain points

  • Ability to manage multiple large accounts simultaneously while maintaining exceptional relationship quality

Qualities That Set You Apart

  • Strategic thinker who views new opportunities as long-term partnerships, not transactional deals—able to identify and target accounts of strategic importance to SavvyMoney's growth

  • Deep industry expertise with credible perspective on fintech trends, competitive landscape, and financial institution business priorities and buying processes

  • Exceptional executive presence and credibility, natural ability to build trust with C-suite and key stakeholders from initial outreach through close

  • Resourceful and solutions-oriented, with strong problem-solving approach to complex new business challenges and multi-stakeholder situations

  • Passionate about fintech and the power of consumer financial empowerment; genuine interest in banking relationships and digital transformation trends

  • Highly motivated new business hunter with strong drive to identify and win new customers; ability to operate independently with minimal supervision

  • Collaborative team player who thrives in cross-functional environments and actively mentors junior colleagues on prospecting and deal strategy

  • Track record of building relationships that drive new business results

  • Intellectual curiosity about financial services, regulatory environment, and market dynamics; tendency to anticipate market shifts and identify emerging opportunities before competition

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience selling to or prospecting into large financial institutions (banks, credit unions, or digital banking platforms)

  • Knowledge of account opening, credit decisioning, or personal finance product categories

  • Familiarity with fintech go-to-market models, particularly B2B2C and platform partnership models

  • Experience with solution selling or consultative sales methodologies (Sandler, Spin, Challenger Sale, etc.)

  • Proven success in strategic prospecting, market targeting, or new business development roles

  • History of contributing to go-to-market strategy, competitive analysis, or market planning based on new business insights

  • Background in mentoring junior sales professionals on new business strategy and complex deal management

  • Experience managing and growing a new business territory or pipeline with quota responsibility
