We are seeking a high-impact Senior Manager of Sales Enablement & Operations to serve as the strategic and operational partner to the VP of Sales. In this pivotal role, you will help shape priorities, align cross-functional efforts, and lead initiatives that position the sales organization for sustained success.
You will combine sales enablement expertise, operational excellence, and project leadership to ensure the sales team is equipped, informed, and empowered to exceed revenue goals. The ideal candidate thrives at both big-picture strategy and hands-on execution in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
Strategic Partnership & Leadership Support
- Collaborate with the VP of Sales to translate business objectives into clear, actionable operational plans.
- Act as a thought partner to the VP of Sales, providing recommendations on organizational design, resource allocation, and long-term growth strategy.
- Ensure leadership priorities remain focused on high-impact opportunities that drive revenue growth.
- Serve as a central connection point across teams, driving clarity, accountability, and alignment on shared goals.
- Anticipate risks and opportunities, and proactively surface solutions to enable the VP of Sales and leadership team to stay ahead of business challenges.
Sales Enablement
- Design and deliver enablement programs, training, and resources that improve sales productivity and effectiveness.
- Develop playbooks, best practices, and onboarding resources to shorten ramp times and elevate performance across the team.
- Partner with Marketing and Customer Success to align messaging, content, and go-to-market strategies.
Sales Operations
- Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPI tracking to provide actionable insights to sales leadership.
- Streamline workflows, optimize CRM data quality, and enhance processes to support faster, more informed decision-making.
- Support forecasting, pipeline management, and territory planning in close collaboration with sales leaders.
Project & Initiative Management
- Lead and execute high-priority projects from concept through completion, managing timelines, resources, and dependencies.\
- Lead cross-functional strategic initiatives that span multiple business units, ensuring alignment with corporate priorities.
- Identify and remove operational bottlenecks to keep initiatives moving forward.
- Ensure clear communication and consistent follow-through on commitments across the organization.
- Drive change management efforts across the sales organization to support adoption of new tools, processes, and go-to-market strategies.
- Own the sales leadership operating rhythm, including quarterly planning, leadership meetings, and business reviews.
Skills & Competencies:
- Proven experience partnering with senior executives to execute strategic priorities.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision-making.
- Exceptional project management and organizational skills, with the ability to balance multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to influence at all levels.
- A balance of strategic thinking and operational execution.
- Experience working directly with executive leadership teams, including preparing materials for C-suite and/or board-level reviews.
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and drive alignment across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Product teams.
- Background in organizational planning, sales strategy, or business transformation initiatives.
- Demonstrated success leading change management efforts to implement new processes, tools, or go-to-market approaches.
- Advanced proficiency in data analytics and business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to guide strategic decisions.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years in sales enablement, sales operations, business operations, or leadership support roles.
- Proficiency in Salesforce, Salesloft, and other sales productivity tools.
- MBA or advanced degree in business, strategy, or a related field (preferred but not required).
