Lead Sage Intacct implementations and add-on module engagements, provide client support, manage project scope and budgets, maintain project plans, mentor junior consultants, and advise clients on product releases and advanced functionality. The role requires independent management of multiple engagements, strong client communication, escalation management, and continuous improvement of consulting practices.
One of Pine’s portfolio companies is a growing Sage Intacct practice helping mid-market businesses transform their finance and operations. They’re looking for a Senior Sage Intacct Consultant to lead client implementations, support add-on modules, and serve as a trusted advisor to clients well beyond go-live.
This is more than a delivery role — it’s a chance to help shape how consulting services are built and delivered at a practice small enough that the right person’s fingerprints will be all over it. If you’re a senior Sage Intacct consultant who wants real ownership, a voice in how things are done, and a genuine growth path, this is the role for you.
This is a fully remote role.
What You'll Do
- Lead new Sage Intacct implementations and add-on module engagements, working closely with clients and Project Managers to keep projects in scope and on budget.
- Take full ownership of client support — responding with urgency, troubleshooting issues thoroughly, and escalating appropriately when publisher involvement is needed.
- Communicate proactively with clients based on their expectations and the needs of the engagement — keeping stakeholders informed and confident throughout.
- Lead multiple engagements simultaneously without close oversight — hitting milestones consistently and flagging risks early.
- Identify out-of-scope items, discuss with Project Managers, and assist with change orders in a timely manner.
- Keep project plans accurate and up to date, reflecting true effort and the tasks required to bring engagements across the finish line.
- Mentor, coach, and develop less experienced consultants — contributing to a culture of continuous learning and best-practice delivery.
- Stay ahead of Sage Intacct product releases and understand how new functionality will impact your clients now and in the future.
- Contribute to the practice itself — helping refine delivery methodology, shape best practices, and influence how consulting services evolve as the team grows.
What They're Looking For
- Substantial, hands-on Sage Intacct implementation and support experience in a consulting environment — this is a non-negotiable foundation for the role.
- Proven ability to lead full-cycle engagements independently across multiple concurrent clients.
- Strong project instincts — milestone tracking, budget awareness, and change order management.
- Client-facing communication skills, with the ability to set expectations, navigate difficult conversations, and build lasting trust.
- Experience mentoring or coaching less experienced consultants.
- Results-oriented and self-directed — acts with urgency, takes ownership, and does what’s right even when it’s not the easiest path.
- Advanced Sage Intacct module experience — CRE experience is a plus, though candidates with deep expertise in other advanced modules (Dynamic Allocations, Global Consolidations, or similar) are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Experience contributing to practice development, delivery methodology, or internal knowledge-building initiatives.
- Familiarity with Sage Intacct publisher escalation processes.
