Seeking a Senior Revenue Accountant to support corporate and divisional finance teams by ensuring accurate revenue recognition, ASC 606 compliance, and timely financial reporting. This role manages deferred revenue, unbilled revenue, AR reconciliations, and delivers detailed customer and sales metric analyses to leadership. This position is based in Westford, MA.
Review executed revenue contracts and agreements to ensure GAAP‑compliant revenue recognition under ASC 606.
Partner with Program Managers to validate revenue‑triggering activities and support recognition procedures.
Maintain and enforce internal controls for automated systems and manual documentation.
Monitor, analyze, and reconcile unbilled receivables, accounts receivable, and deferred revenue accounts.
Prepare recurring and period‑end journal entries; support timely month‑end close.
Develop analyses to establish Standalone Selling Prices (SSP) for product and service offerings.
Produce quarterly reporting schedules required for financial statement disclosures.
Assist with ERP system testing for enhancements and upgrades.
Support external auditors during annual audit activities.
Complete ad hoc reporting and special projects for management.
RequirementsRequired Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge and hands‑on experience applying ASC 606.
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and systems skills.

Strong analytical ability with exceptional attention to detail.
Proactive, organized, and able to manage competing priorities.
Effective communicator with solid judgment.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA preferred.
Minimum 4+ years of revenue accounting experience applying ASC 606 in a software environment.
Large ERP experience required; Oracle and RevStream preferred.
Prior software industry and/or public company experience preferred.
