Job Description

About us- Cognex is the largest, most successful and recognized global player in industrial machine vision! We are a financially strong, international company with no debt and have been in business for over 40 years. Using advanced optics, image sensors and artificial intelligence software Cognex vision and ID systems capture an image then analyze it to make sense of what’s being seen. We are deeply committed to fostering an inclusive and equitable work environment, guided by our "Work Hard, Play Hard, Move Fast" culture, which celebrates employee innovation, determination, and dedication in a dynamic, fun, and distinctive atmosphere.

We are working on a hybrid schedule, 3 days in the office, 2 at home.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Regional Demand Generation Specialist for the Americas. Reporting directly to the Global Director of Demand Generation, you will design, localize, and activate high-impact marketing programs to accelerate pipeline and revenue growth across North and South America. Acting as the critical bridge between global strategy and regional sales, you will prioritize a 1:few Account-Based Marketing (ABM) motion for high-value target accounts while overseeing regional multi-channel demand programs.

Rather than executing every tactic from scratch, you will serve as the regional architect—orchestrating budgets, collaborating with media partners, and providing strategic direction to our dedicated Centers of Excellence (CoE) for email and trade shows. Additionally, you will serve as a key member of the global marketing community, collaborating closely with your regional counterparts around the world to share insights, scale wins, and standardize demand generation best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales-Aligned ABM: Own and execute 1:few Account-Based Marketing (ABM) strategies for small clusters of priority target accounts, collaborating directly with Americas Sales leadership to identify growth opportunities and accelerate the enterprise pipeline.
  • Global Collaboration: Actively partner with international regional marketing counterparts to share campaign insights, trade best practices, and scale successful regional programs globally.
  • Regional Campaign Activation: Localize and deploy global campaign blueprints, translating assets provided by Product Marketing and Industry Content teams into high-performing regional programs.
  • CoE Collaboration & Direction: Provide regional strategy, campaign briefs, and target criteria to internal Centers of Excellence (including Email and Trade Shows) to ensure flawless execution of regional field events and digital nurture tracks.
  • Media & Agency Management: Direct and optimize regional marketing spend across paid search, paid social, and programmatic display, managing agency partners and establishing direct sponsorships with key industrial and trade media publications.
  • Channel Partner Co-Marketing: Support the regional partner ecosystem by orchestrating targeted co-marketing initiatives, including co-sponsored events, joint webinars, and collaborative content distribution.
  • Funnel Analytics & Reporting: Track and analyze the full Americas marketing funnel—from initial account engagement to pipeline generation and closed revenue—reporting regularly to the Global Director of Demand Gen with actionable optimization insights.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 5+ years of B2B digital marketing, demand generation, or field marketing experience, preferably within technology, industrial automation, or manufacturing sectors.
  • ABM Expertise: Proven track record of planning and executing structured 1:few or 1:1 Account-Based Marketing strategies in close alignment with enterprise sales teams.
  • Tech Stack Mastery: Hands-on experience navigating and extracting insights from our core marketing and sales tech stack: Salesforce, Account Engagement (formerly Pardot), Demandbase, and Qualified.
  • Stakeholder Management: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to provide clear strategic direction to agency partners, internal Centers of Excellence, global counterparts, and cross-functional leadership teams.
  • Analytical Mindset: Strong competency in funnel metrics, revenue attribution models, conversational marketing tools, and data-driven budget allocation.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, balance direct and channel partner marketing needs, and manage multiple high-priority campaigns simultaneously.

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 95,000 USD - 135,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance or a sales incentive plan.

This position provides a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance; a 401(k) retirement plan with company matching; employer-paid disability, family leave, life insurance, paid time off (including holidays), optional voluntary benefits, and recognition and wellness programs.
