About this role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Recruiter with a specialized focus on Go-To-Market (GTM) roles, including sales, marketing, customer success, and related functions. • Sourcing Strategies & Market Insights: Develop and execute innovative sourcing techniques to identify and engage both active and passive candidates. Gather and leverage market intelligence to inform recruitment strategies, including understanding industry trends, compensation benchmarks, and competitive landscape.

  • Process Creation & Improvement: Design, implement, and continuously refine internal recruitment processes to enhance efficiency, candidate experience, and overall effectiveness.

  • Candidate Experience: Ensure a positive and engaging experience for all candidates by maintaining clear communication, providing timely feedback, and upholding Astronomer’s employer brand throughout the recruitment process.

  • Diversity & Inclusion: Champion diversity and inclusion initiatives within the recruitment process to build a diverse and high-performing team.

What you bring to the role:
  • 8+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with a strong emphasis on Go-To-Market roles in high growth companies.

  • Deep understanding of GTM functions and the ability to assess candidates’ fit within these areas.

  • Proven experience in building and optimizing recruitment processes and workflows.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to recruitment strategies and decisions.

  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

  • Proven track record of conducting executive-level searches, including sourcing, assessing, and closing talent.

Bonus points if you have:
  • Experience at a SaaS or cloud-based company

The estimated salary for this role ranges from $160,000 - $190,000 based on leveling and geography, along with an equity component and a comprehensive benefits package. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
