Key Responsibilities
- Lead End-to-End Testing: Design, plan, and oversee comprehensive manual and automated testing strategies to ensure software quality across all stages of the development lifecycle, focusing on both functional and non-functional requirements.
- Automation & Manual Testing: Develop, maintain, and execute robust automated test scripts and frameworks, while also performing meticulous manual testing to uncover hard-to-find bugs and edge cases.
- Bug Identification & Reporting: Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and a meticulous approach in finding, documenting, and tracking defects, ensuring issues are clearly communicated and resolved efficiently.
- Quality Leadership: Serve as the senior point of contact for all quality-related matters, leading a team of QA engineers and analysts in best practices for testing, defect prevention, and continuous process improvement.
- Client Engagement & Communication: Confidently lead challenging client discussions regarding quality standards, test results, and defect management, translating technical findings into actionable business insights and recommendations.
- Test Strategy & Planning: Architect and refine test strategies, including risk-based testing approaches, regression testing plans, and automation coverage, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
- Collaboration & Mentorship: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to ensure quality objectives are met, while mentoring junior QA staff and fostering a culture of quality throughout the organization.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of emerging testing tools and methodologies, driving innovation in QA processes and advocating for the adoption of new technologies that enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
- 7+ years of progressive experience in software quality assurance and quality control, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead QA role.
- Proven expertise in both manual and automated testing, including hands-on experience with automation frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability to design and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and regression suites for complex software systems.
- Strong track record of identifying, isolating, and documenting critical bugs and edge cases, with a reputation for meticulousness and attention to detail.
- Experience leading and mentoring QA teams and managing quality processes in Agile or hybrid development environments.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to lead difficult conversations with clients and stakeholders and translate technical findings into business value.
- Proficiency with bug tracking and test management tools.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Technical Skills
- Advanced knowledge of automated testing tools and scripting languages.
- Deep understanding of software development life cycle, QA methodologies, and best practices.
- Experience with version control systems.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices is a plus.

- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
