OUR OPPORTUNITY
The Senior QA Engineer will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products by designing, executing, and automating test cases across multiple platforms. Reporting directly to the QA Lead Engineer, this role will contribute to the implementation of QA strategies, support automation initiatives, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.
The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and passionate about quality, with strong experience in both manual and automated testing.
YOU WILL
» Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web, mobile, and backend systems.
» Develop and maintain automated test scripts using modern automation frameworks.
» Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to ensure testability and quality throughout the SDLC.
» Execute functional, regression, integration, and API testing.
» Contribute to building and enhancing automation frameworks under the guidance of the QA Lead.
» Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing.
» Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools, ensuring proper prioritization and resolution.
» Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups to ensure quality is embedded early.
» Support performance and security testing activities as required.
» Analyze test results, provide clear reporting, and highlight risks or quality concerns.
» Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies.
Requirements
» TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE ROLE YOU NEED
» Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
» 4–7 years of experience in software testing with strong exposure to both manual and automation testing.
» Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium.
» Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, or JavaScript).
» Solid experience in API testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar.
» Experience working with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
» Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
» Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
» Experience in performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, k6) is a plus.
» Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
» Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
