Senior Project Scheduler

Applied Research Solutions (ARS) is seeking a Senior Project Scheduler to support the Hanscom National Integration (HNI) team under the EPASS contract at Hanscom AFB in Bedford, MA. This role will provide project scheduling and planning expertise across complex Air Force programs, helping teams develop, maintain, and analyze integrated schedules while tracking milestones, dependencies, deliverables, and overall program progress.

This is a full-time, on-site position located at Hanscom Air Force Base in Bedford, Massachusetts.

Duties include, but not limited to: 

• Develop, maintain, and manage integrated project schedules supporting complex Department of Defense and Air Force programs.
• Work closely with program managers, government stakeholders, technical teams, functional leads, and subcontractors to develop realistic and executable project schedules.
• Establish and maintain schedule baselines, milestones, activities, dependencies, resources, and critical path information.
• Monitor schedule performance and identify potential delays, schedule conflicts, resource constraints, and risks that may impact program objectives.
• Perform schedule analysis to identify critical and near-critical activities, logic gaps, float erosion, and other indicators of potential schedule impacts.
• Track program milestones, deliverables, contract requirements, and major activities to ensure commitments remain aligned with established program objectives.
• Develop and maintain Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), Integrated Master Plans (IMP), and supporting detailed schedules as required.
• Coordinate schedule updates with program teams and incorporate progress, changes, and approved adjustments into the program schedule.
• Provide schedule status reports, briefings, metrics, and analysis to program leadership and government customers.
• Support development of schedule-related inputs for program reviews, management briefings, acquisition documentation, and other program deliverables.
• Analyze the potential schedule impact of program changes, emerging requirements, technical issues, and resource constraints and communicate findings to program leadership.
• Support risk and opportunity management by identifying schedule-related risks and developing mitigation strategies and recovery plans.
• Coordinate with cost, financial, engineering, logistics, configuration management, and program management functions to ensure schedule information remains consistent with overall program planning.
• Maintain schedule data integrity and ensure schedules are developed and updated in accordance with established program and contract requirements.
• Support Earned Value Management (EVM) activities by coordinating schedule information and ensuring alignment between schedule progress, planned work, and program performance data.
• Participate in Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBRs), program reviews, milestone reviews, and other customer meetings as required.
• Develop schedule forecasts and what-if analyses to support program decision-making and identify potential impacts to cost, performance, and delivery objectives.
• Assist program leadership with developing recovery schedules and corrective actions when program activities fall behind planned performance.
• Ensure schedule documentation, status, and supporting data are properly maintained and available for government and program leadership review.
• Apply DoD program management and acquisition principles when developing and analyzing schedules for complex government programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications:

• Must be a US citizen
• Must have and be able to maintain a Secret Clearance
• Bachelor’s degree or master's Degree in a related discipline
• 10+ years of experience, with at least five years supporting DoD programs and Advanced understanding of scheduling tools to include Microsoft Project

The expected annual salary range: $144k - $162K. Salary is dependent upon the role, associated responsibilities, candidates experience and qualifications to include education/training and key skills.
