STV is seeking a Senior Life Science Project Manages for our PM/CM team in Boston, with a strong background in Life Science project management. Ideal candidates will have recent experience representing owners in capital programs, facility upgrades, renovations, and additions for both new and occupied office, lab, manufacturing and production facilities.

In this role, you will manage Capital Program Management/Owner’s Representative assignments, serving as a key liaison between owners, stakeholders, and project teams. You’ll work alongside senior managers to guide projects through the entire lifecycle, from budgeting and planning to design, construction, commissioning, and closeout. This is an opportunity to join STV, a project management leader in the design and construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross-functional life science projects with high resource demands, risk, and complexity.
  • Oversee design and construction activities to ensure compliance with contracts and quality standards.
  • Define and assign project responsibilities to Assistant Project Managers and team members.
  • Mentor team members to foster a high-performing project team.
  • Manage project financials, including cash flow analysis, cost estimates, purchase orders, and invoices.
  • Identify and mitigate risks and liabilities proactively.
  • Develop, monitor, and maintain project schedules to ensure timely completion.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, design consultants, contractors, and vendors while managing conflict resolution.
  • Communicate complex ideas effectively to executives and stakeholders.
  • Assist in developing and implementing standards, policies, and procedures to ensure project success.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management preferred.
  • Minimum of 15+ years of experience in life science, manufacturing, industrial, and/or laboratory-related projects, with a focus on cGMP and Laboratory new builds and renovations. 
  • Proven track record of managing projects valued at $40M+
  • Strong knowledge of project management techniques, principles, and best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage at all levels of an organization.
  • Ability to solve complex issues and think creatively under pressure.
  • Experience in team leadership, recruitment, training, and performance management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project, SharePoint, and project management software.
  • Ability to anticipate challenges and develop solutions to maintain safety, quality, schedule, and budget compliance.

Compensation Range:

$154,221.56 - $205,628.74
