Heidrick Consulting (HC) serves as the firm’s leadership advisory arm. We are a team that is passionate about enabling a world better led. The Senior Project Coordinator role is responsible for project coordination and performing various administrative functions for multiple client accounts/projects. As the Senior Project coordinator, you will partner with Project Managers to assist in execution of various deliverables and management of engagements, thrive in a team environment to meet production goals, schedule meetings, maintain processes and manage daily workflow. The role is responsible for all deliverables within client engagements, it is an essential business support role and will suit someone who has excellent numerical skills, an understanding of profit and loss, and fantastic relationship building skills.
Role Responsibilities
Client Impact & Engagement:
- Owning the full lifecycle management of small to medium sized internal projects or client engagements overseen by a Project Manager
- Building and managing a project plan tracking work in progress with the account team
- Providing project and technical support to client teams
- Managing day-to-day operational aspects of assigned engagements, including project and financial reporting
- Escalating issues appropriately
- Providing engagement coordination for multiple client accounts/engagements
- Managing engagement administrative and survey/assessment support tasks
- Formatting, creating and assembling engagement documents/media
People:
- Supporting Project Manager in set up of PMO
- Supporting on delivery of larger engagements
- Working with team to ensure quality of deliverables
- Collaborating with other business functions and appropriately delegating activities to Project Coordinators and Project Administrators
- Creating and conducting training of new hires as appropriate
Firm Building:
- Leading the team in developing best practices
- Developing relationships with team, other internal functions and clients
- Identifying and driving internal process improvements and best practices
- Managing the creation of proposals and RFP process, owning the timeline and costing
Knowledge:
- Leading the team in following Heidrick Consulting Center of Excellence project management processes
- Using a variety of software tools to administer and support client delivery
- Understanding systems including Latitude, Kimble, PeopleSoft and Culture Connect as well as Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Understanding engagement profit and loss
- Understanding and appropriately using business templates and branding
- Champion for Client Services process or tool
- Understanding and appropriately delivering Stakeholder management
Basic Role Qualifications
- Knowledge of project management methodologies and is able to create project plans with some support for internal or client projects/engagements.
- Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in a similar corporate environment role
Preferred Role Qualifications
- Proven record in delivering successful projects, without close supervision
- Excellent client services skills: clear communication, knowledge of all products and services, responsive to all needs, ability to troubleshoot with some support.
- Excellent attention to detail as well as organizational, planning and time management skills; proficient at meeting deadlines, including tight deadlines and working on multiple projects in a fast paced and challenging environment.
- Flexible with a ‘can do’ attitude and passion for delivery.
- Pro-active and logical thinking with creative and collaborative problem-solving ability.
- Good communication, negotiation and numerical skills.
- Aptitude to work well with others and delegate as appropriate.
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Project Management software.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills at all levels.
- Undergraduate degree preferred
Pay Range Guidelines for this Position:
The salary range for this position is 75000 USD to 84000 USD. Compensation is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience and skills. In addition to your salary, Heidrick & Struggles offers discretionary bonuses (subject to eligibility requirements) and a comprehensive benefits package including: medical, dental, vision, disability leave, parental leave, paid time off and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
