Role Overview


We are looking for a strategic, scientifically fluent Senior Product Marketing Specialist to lead go-to-market initiatives and help shape how we bring our life sciences products to market. You’ll drive positioning, messaging, and campaign strategy—working closely with Product, Sales, and Digital Marketing teams. This role is ideal for someone who blends technical depth with commercial creativity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of core product messaging, positioning, and value propositions for target customer segments
  • Drive go-to-market strategy for new product launches, including launch plans, internal alignment, and execution oversight
  • Create educational and thought leadership content, including white papers, academic-style articles, use cases, and customer testimonials that showcase real-world application and impact
  • Develop and maintain sales enablement resources such as playbooks, training decks, competitive battlecards, and objection handling guides
  • Partner with demand generation and digital marketing to align campaigns with product strategy and ensure consistency across channels
  • Own customer persona development and market segmentation strategy
  • Analyze customer feedback and product usage to refine messaging, uncover unmet needs, and support product roadmap alignment
  • Conduct competitive and market intelligence, identifying trends, threats, and opportunities
  • Present strategies and results to stakeholders including Sales, Product, and Executive leadership

  • Within 3 months you’ll...Define core messaging, positioning, and value props; Develop customer personas and segmentation strategy; Align with Product and Sales on go-to-market priorities


    Within 6 months you’ll...Lead product launch planning and execution; Create content: white papers, use cases, testimonials; Build sales enablement tools (playbooks, decks, battlecards)


    At 12+ months you’ll...Optimize messaging with feedback and product insights; Deliver competitive and market intelligence; Present strategy and results to cross-functional leadership



Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a life sciences field (e.g., Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry)
  • 5–8 years of experience in product marketing or a related role in NGS sequencing
  • Demonstrated experience leading successful GTM strategies and content creation for technical products
  • Excellent writing and storytelling skills for technical and scientific audiences
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret customer, market, and product data
  • Experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo)
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with Product, Sales, and R&D in a fast-paced environment
