Job Summary

Iron Mountain is seeking a strategic and visionary Senior Technical Product Marketing Manager, Platform (InSight Digital Experience Platform) to join our Digital Business Unit team.

In this role, you will be responsible for architecting the buyer-focused technical narrative, building our technical Go-To-Market strategy from the ground up, and defining the market category for our service, software, and Artificial Intelligence business model to establish industry leadership.

You will report to the Director of Product Marketing within the Digital Business Unit, collaborating closely with Product, Program Management, and Enablement teams to translate platform innovation into global market impact.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will:

  • Platform Narrative & Market Leadership: Synthesize complex technical inputs into a high-impact, visionary story and theme-based roadmap, establishing platform authority and technical relevance with Information Technology leaders, architects, and security officers.

  • Go-To-Market Strategy & Sales Empowerment: Partner across cross-functional teams to orchestrate the Go-To-Market blueprint and independently deliver high-impact, outcome-oriented assets—including white papers, solution briefs, reference architectures, and implementation guides—to drive global customer awareness.

  • Analyst Influence & Category Perception: Proactively drive the strategy for industry analyst briefings, ensuring key market influencers understand our unique value proposition and successfully shaping the criteria used to evaluate the category.

  • Market & Buyer Intelligence: Own the definition of our ideal customer profile and buyer personas, synthesizing the unspoken needs of the enterprise buyer into high-impact messaging and strategic product feedback loops.

  • Stakeholder Empowerment: Ensure our global sales teams, systems integrators, and hyperscale cloud partners have high-fidelity technical content and reference architectures optimized for immediate commercial action.

What You’ll Bring

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 7–10+ years of experience in Product Marketing, Sales Engineering, or Product Management, with a strong preference for experience working as a Senior Technical Product Marketing Manager for a Business-to-Business Software as a Service platform.

  • Strong knowledge of enterprise cloud architecture and the Information Technology ecosystem, with a proven ability to translate complex technical capabilities into marketing strategies that drive global platform adoption.

  • Pioneer Mindset: A proven track record of building strategic narratives from the ground up and successfully navigating Go-To-Market approaches in fast-paced, matrixed environments.

  • Strategic Communication: Exceptional ability to tailor complex technical narratives for diverse audiences—from technical architects and sales teams to executive leaders—with a strict focus on clarity and field-readiness.

  • Analyst & Industry Exposure: Proven experience supporting or leading analyst briefings, with the professional fluency to navigate high-stakes technical inquiries and shape analyst perception.

  • Data Fluency: Demonstrated ability to synthesize qualitative customer feedback and quantitative market data to define buyer personas and dynamically pivot marketing strategies based on empirical evidence.

What We Offer

  • Location: Fully remote work

  • Day-One Benefits: Enjoy comprehensive health, wellness, and retirement plans with robust benefits starting on your first day of employment.

  • Empowering Your Balance: Flexible vacation plan and flexible schedules to support your personal and professional well-being.

  • Continuous Career Development: Elevate your skills through ongoing training, corporate learning resources, and internal advancement opportunities on a global scale.

  • Compensation & Care: Competitive salary commensurate with your experience, paired with a comprehensive company-wide benefits package.

If you are a high-agency product marketing strategist and a B2B SaaS technical storyteller ready to translate complex platform innovation into market-defining narratives and establish our platform as the undisputed industry authority, we invite you to apply today!

  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
