Make the work of our customers delivering life-changing medicines and treatments to patients more efficient and productive. We are looking for an experienced technical product manager to design and deliver high-value AI Agent solutions for Veeva PromoMats and Vault Medical.
In this role, you will be the expert in leveraging AI to automate the content lifecycle, from speeding up the Medical, Legal, and Regulatory (MLR) review process to automating the generation of medical information responses. You will build AI agents that help commercial and medical affairs teams ensure compliance while accelerating the speed-to-market for critical health communications. What You’ll Do

- Strategic Product Discovery: Navigate the probabilistic nature of AI by identifying high-impact use cases where LLMs can solve non-deterministic problems in the MLR and Medical Inquiry workflows.
- Performance & Value Metrics: Define and track clear KPIs for AI success, such as “Reduction in MLR Review Cycles”, “Inference Accuracy”, and “Automated Reference Matching Precision” to demonstrate ROI to stakeholders.
- Prototype to Production: Drive hands-on design and development of AI prototypes while ensuring they meet the rigorous scalability and quality standards of the Veeva Vault platform.
- Process Automation: Partner with Engineering and UX to automate key business processes, such as identifying compliance risks in promotional materials or triaging complex medical inquiries.
- Stakeholder Alignment & Evangelism: Work with Application PMs to integrate AI capabilities seamlessly and present the value proposition to internal leadership and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- 5+ years of enterprise software product management, engineering, or consulting experience
- 2+ years of hands-on focus on AI/ML applications, specifically LLMs and Generative AI
- Technical Proficiency: Strong coding skills in Python and experience with AI Frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex) and APIs
- Architectural Knowledge: Deep understanding of data flow design, prompt engineering, and model fine-tuning for highly regulated content
- Communication: Ability to translate complex AI concepts into business value for non-technical stakeholders in Legal, Medical, and Regulatory departments
- Collaboration: Proven track record of working with UX and Engineering to build intuitive tools for complex workflows
Nice to Have
- Domain Expertise: Direct experience with Veeva Vault PromoMats or Vault Medical
- Life Sciences Experience: Familiarity with MLR review processes, 2253 submissions, or Medical Information (MedInfo) workflows
- Data Background: Experience as a data scientist, machine learning, or data engineering role
