About this role:
Pickle is looking for a driven Senior Product Manager to spearhead the next generation of warehouse automation. In this role, you’ll combine strategic product leadership with hands-on execution across robotics, machine learning, and physical AI. What You’ll Accomplish:
- Define the Future of AI: Define the vision, strategy, and comprehensive roadmaps for Pickle’s physical AI solutions, collaborating closely with hardware/software product managers and engineering leadership.
- Drive Execution: Lead the product development cycle by translating deep market and customer needs into detailed, technically-aligned product requirements that support core business objectives.
- Champion Cross-Functional Success: Ensure successful product outcomes by partnering with highly technical engineering, design, and operations teams to align priorities and execute key deliverables.
- Deep Customer & Market Insight: Engage closely with customers and end-users to gather feedback, test prototypes, and iterate on solutions that solve critical real-world problems. Conduct thorough competitive analysis and monitor industry trends to position Pickle's solutions as industry leaders.
- Product Lifecycle Ownership: Manage the entire product journey for your designated product area, from initial concept development and prototyping through full production, deployment, and end-of-life strategies.
Who You Are:
- Product Management: 5+ years of product management experience, preferably in robotics, automation, or a related field.
- Technical Product Expertise: Proven experience driving end-to-end development of AI-powered products—from early inception to delivery. Experience with warehouse automation or robotics is a strong plus.
- Development Fluency: Proven ability to collaborate with highly technical teams across both software and hardware domains.
- Communication & Documentation: Excellent verbal and written skills, with the ability to clearly and effectively communicate complex technical information to various stakeholders. Demonstrated success in creating high-quality market requirements, product requirement documents, and technical white papers.
- Product Tools and Methodologies: Proficient in Agile/Scrum methodologies and systems like JIRA, Confluence, or similar platforms.
- Data-driven: Ability to synthesise data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions—familiarity with tools like Excel, Tableau, or other analytics platforms.
- Customer-Centric: Deeply empathetic to customer needs, with a strong ability to translate feedback into actionable insights.
- Collaborative: Thrives in a cross-functional environment, working with engineering, marketing, sales, and customers to drive results.
- Location & Travel: You are willing and able to work in our Charleston, MA headquarters at least 3x per week. You are also able to travel to customer warehouses as required, approximately 25% of the time.
