Your Impact

This Senior Product Manager role with Encompass is a strategic leadership position with the opportunity to demonstrate excellence in product strategy, development, and mentorship. This role includes aligning market needs, product roadmaps, and revenue goals while fostering collaboration and team growth. This is a hands-on role for someone who is unafraid to dig into the details and work directly with stakeholders and the related development teams to achieve the desired outcomes. In additional this role will lead the strategy and development of Encompass’ ecommerce ordering and payments solutions platform, dsdlink. This role requires in-depth knowledge of ecommerce best practices within 3-tier alcohol distribution.

The Opportunity

Key Results Areas for this role include: 

Product Strategy

  • Lead targeted customer engagement to identify and address market challenges.
  • Execute the product roadmap, balancing short-term priorities with long-term goals.
  • Refine customer personas and market segments to improve positioning.
  • Analyze competitors and conduct win/loss reviews to drive strategic insights.
  • Ensure product alignment within the broader portfolio.

Product Building

  • Develop user and buyer personas based on customer feedback and research.
  • Create user scenarios and define product requirements that align with business goals.
  • Work closely with engineering and design to prioritize and manage the product backlog.
  • Engage stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment across teams.

Booking & Retention

  • Enhance product content, documentation, and internal resources for clarity and accessibility.
  • Optimize sales tools and support GTM execution to drive adoption.
  • Partner with RevOps to improve sales processes and workflows.
  • Implement data-driven retention strategies to reduce churn and enhance customer loyalty.

Collaboration

  • Build strong relationships across teams, ensuring alignment on key initiatives.
  • Lead discussions, facilitate problem-solving, and address stakeholder concerns proactively.
  • Work closely with other Product Teams to drive cohesion and resolve interdependencies.
  • Support and mentor Product Managers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.

Your Experience

General Qualifications & Skills

Required: 

  • SaaS experience in product management, project management, or product lifecycle.
  • Industry knowledge in beverage production, distribution, or related fields.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership and initiative execution.
  • Proven track record in full product lifecycle management, from concept to GTM.
  • Experience delivering large-scale SaaS products.
  • B2B e-commerce product development (0 to 1).
  • Stripe payment product experience.
  • PMP or relevant Product Management certifications are a plus.
  • Knowledge of U.S. 3-tier beverage alcohol distribution preferred

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing, engineering, computer science, computer information system, data science or a related field (or equivalent professional experience). 
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Product Management positions

Additional Details

This role will receive a competitive salary + bonus + benefits. The salary for US-based employees located in the below markets may expect offers in the below ranges for this role.

US Annual Base Salary Range: $123,000 - $150,000 plus bonus program.  A variety of factors are considered when determining someone’s compensation, including a candidate’s professional background, experience, and location. Final offer amounts may vary from the amounts listed above based on these considerations.

Location:  We are a hybrid work environment.  This role can be remote or located in Corporate office located in Fort Collins, Colorado.

Travel:  This position could require overnight travel to corporate offices. Additional travel could include attendance of conferences and trade shows.
