The successful Senior Product Manager will spearhead discovery efforts to deliver cutting-edge solutions for real-time transmission monitoring, enabling Fortune 500 utilities to enhance grid capacity, integrate renewable energy, and improve operational resilience. You'll align stakeholders, make critical decisions, and guide your squad to create innovative capabilities that Fortune 500 utilities rely on. What will you do?
Core Responsibilities and Key Performance Objectives

  • Develop innovative tools powered by advanced sensor technology, real-time weather data, and LiDAR insights to provide utilities with actionable situational awareness
  • Use your physics or engineering expertise to navigate technical concepts and algorithms, collaborating with data scientists and engineers to deliver solutions for transmission systems, line ratings, and utility operations.
  • Ensure product market fit for new offerings by performing discovery with prospective customers, developing hypotheses, and testing new ideas rigorously
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with your development squad, product management peers, and leadership, while applying a strategic understanding of business, finance, and startup dynamics to drive results.
  • Investigate and test innovative solutions, using algorithmic or modeling knowledge to create actionable plans and build impactful product capabilities for daily utility use.


Within the first 3 months:

  • Build relationships with colleagues and customers while gaining a deep understanding of our overall product and your specific area.
  • Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to gather insights that inform product direction.
  • Lead discovery efforts by identifying risks, conducting tests, and validating results.


Within the first 6 months:

  • Develop a strong understanding of our business strategy and go-to-market (GTM) approach.
  • Take full ownership of your product area, shipping impactful features or running experiments to achieve customer value and OKRs.
  • Refine product development processes within your squad and share best practices across teams.


Within the first year:

  • Become a recognized expert in our product and customer base, guiding key business decisions.
  • Work closely with leadership to evaluate opportunities, understand market dynamics, and identify growth areas.
  • Lead cross-functional and cross-squad product development efforts, building consensus, aligning plans, and delivering impactful results.

  • Build Strong Relationships: Foster trust by clearly communicating intentions, demonstrating capabilities, and reliably delivering on commitments to gain critical context and stakeholder support.
  • Drive Consensus: Facilitate discussions, integrate diverse perspectives, address stakeholder concerns, and lead decisions that optimize success for the company, employees, and customers.

Salary Description
$155,000-170,000 base salary / year

LineVision Boston, Massachusetts, USA Office

Our HQ is located in a state-of-the-art facility converted from the famous Schrafft’s Candy Factory. The office is located in Charlestown, near public transit, with multiple bus/train connections nearby & regular shuttles to and from transit. Our office overlooks a wide vista of the Mystic River.
