Job Description

To support the development of our Lens data analytics platform, we are looking for a dynamic Senior Product Manager to be an integral part of our Commodities Product team covering Gas & LNG, Oils & Chemicals and Metals & Mining.

Knowledge & experience

  • Experienced Product Manager, or Analyst looking to expand their role into the Product Management space
  • Experience with the product development cycle including agile software development (Scrum/Kanban), design process, and instrumenting analytics.
  • Basic industry knowledge and strong interest on one or multiple sectors covered in our portfolio (Gas & LNG, Oils & Chemicals, Metals & Mining), understanding of the major players, market conditions, and industry standards. Intellectual curiosity for industry is a must.
  • Experience working on data migrations projects, and using AI in product development is a strong plus.
  • Good oral and written communication skills 
  • Key tools that we use are JIRA, Productboard and Amplitude. Our tech stack is mainly on AWS and Snowflake.

Impact on the team

  • Act as the day-to-day point person for the cross-functional team, providing a seamless bridge between Research Analysts, Data teams, UX, and Engineering to identify solutions that work within a set of defined constraints and align to the broader business strategy and achieve customer-focused results.
  • Align understanding by defining user requirements with clear acceptance criteria across multiple features
  • Assist in documentation and testing of given solutions to ensure fit for customers
  • Collaborate with the Senior Product Manager to help communicate product value and priorities to internal teams, including sales and marketing
  • Foster healthy culture, support and collaboration for a distributed team  
      

Stakeholder & client relationships

  • Translate requirements from customers and defining the product functionality according to wider customer needs
  • Inform senior stakeholders on progress and raise risks to the appropriate level
  • Engage frequently with users to gather feedback from relevant customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Sales to enable go-to-market effort
