Job Description

We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our Pricing Experience team within the Finance and Treasury Tribe.

The Pricing Experience team's mission is to develop capabilities that make Wise pricing fair, competitive, well understood and instantly available.

You’ll do this by communicating the Wise price to our customers via the User Interface such as the Send Money flow, Receive Money flow, charges for specific features and communication materials to customers , and developing the core systems that support discounts, promotions and pricing.

Additionally, you’ll partner with teams across Wise to fix quality issues related to pricing that sit across multiple domains such as our Global and Regional Product teams as well as our Marketing, Finance and Compliance teams to continually evolve our pricing capabilities to maximise sustainable growth

This is a Product Manager 2 role. For more information on our Product Career Map and levelling structure, click here.

You'll contribute to the Wise mission by:

  • Developing and maintaining the platform capabilities for discounts and promotions.

  • Leading initiatives to improve pricing comprehension and the customer experience of pricing across all Wise products

  • Defining the long-term vision for pricing capabilities in your domain to support Wise’s growth, together with the Pricing squad Lead

This role will give you the opportunity to

  • Impact every Wise customer globally, as you will play a critical role in developing the Wise pricing engine capabilities and customer experience

  • Choose your path to impact - we believe people are most empowered when they can act autonomously. So rather than telling you what to do, you’ll collaborate with your team to create a vision of your own.

  • Grow professionally as a product manager and a leader. You will cooperate with multiple cross-functional teams across Wise and get to work on highly impactful and technically challenging projects

Qualifications

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • You are a seasoned product manager with at least 5 years of experience working on customer facing products: proven UX competence, strong design intuition with a track record of navigating complex and ambiguous environments

  • You have successfully built and launched customer-facing products in complex high-volume / large scale organisations with an environment that has complex and data heavy problems, such as ride sharing and travel sites, personal commute services, and delivery services

  • You are analytically minded. You know how to talk numbers, what to measure, what to test and when to test it.

  • Experienced in working with engineers, designers and user researchers and are enthusiastic about building delightful customer experiences

  • You’re hands on, don’t stick to a “by the book” product management role definition, detailed oriented and you’d do everything needed to make the team and the product successful

  • You are an empathetic communicator who’s great at conveying complex ideas in a clear and understandable way

NICE TO HAVE BUT NOT ESSENTIAL

  • Experience with Pricing methods

  • You can write SQL, Python or have similar data relevant skills

  • You can sketch on Figma by yourself

Additional Information

  • Salary Range: £88,000 - £118,000 (depending on experience and interview performance)
  • Restricted Stock Units (RSUs)

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
