Job Title: Senior Product Manager
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Manager to lead the strategy, roadmap, and execution Payment portals. The ideal candidate will possess strong experience in B2B platform design, user access/permissions models, auto finance or lending workflows, and partner onboarding at scale.
This role partners closely with business, engineering, UX/design, compliance, risk, operations to deliver a scalable, compliant, and partner-centric portal experience. The Product Manager will own the end-to-end roadmap from MVP through multi-phase expansion, working hands-in with designers to translate ambiguous business needs into clear, buildable features.
Required Qualifications
- 4 + years of experience as a Product Manager delivering B2B or partner-facing platforms, ideally in auto finance, lending, mortgage, or other regulated financial services.
- Demonstrated experience designing user access, role-based permissions, or auto finance or lending workflow systems for external partner organizations.
- Strong hands-on collaboration experience with UX/UI designers, including participation in wireframe reviews and usability testing — not solely requirements documentation.
- Experience scoping and launching MVPs for ambiguous or undefined future user bases (phased product expansion).
- Familiarity with loan servicing, payoff processing, or similar lending/financial transaction workflows strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of data analytics tools for KPI tracking and backlog prioritization.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum or SAFe delivery methodologies
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience aligning engineering, compliance, risk, and business teams around a shared roadmap.
- Prior experience in automotive finance, dealer-facing systems or similar partner portals is a strong plus.
- Background in regulatory/compliance-constrained product environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and own the product roadmap, lead discovery and scoping for expansion.
- Translate business and operational needs into clear epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria that engineering and design can act on.
- Prioritize the backlog based on impact, operational risk, compliance requirements, and business value.
- Lead the product lifecycle from discovery through launch and post-launch optimization, including planning for expansion to other providers.
- Work hands-in with UX/UI designers from discovery through delivery, including wireframe reviews, usability testing, and iterative design critique not just requirements handoff.
- Partner with security, compliance, and engineering to ensure access controls meet enterprise and regulatory standards.
- Understand and define the data, validations, and business rules.
- Identify opportunities to reduce manual handling and processing delays through digital workflow design.
- Define edge cases such as user offboarding, re-approval, dealer-level access changes, and escalation paths for denied or pending registrations.
- Champion a design-informed, user-centered approach to prioritization, balancing dealer usability with internal compliance and risk needs.
- Partner with compliance, risk, and legal teams to define acceptable use policies, data retention rules, and audit requirements for external users.
- Collaborate daily with engineering, design, compliance, risk, operations, and customer support teams.
