Ready to be pushed beyond what you think you’re capable of?

At Coinbase, our mission is to increase economic freedom in the world. It’s a massive, ambitious opportunity that demands the best of us, every day, as we build the emerging onchain platform — and with it, the future global financial system.

To achieve our mission, we’re seeking a very specific candidate. We want someone who is passionate about our mission and who believes in the power of crypto and blockchain technology to update the financial system. We want someone who is eager to leave their mark on the world, who relishes the pressure and privilege of working with high caliber colleagues, and who actively seeks feedback to keep leveling up. We want someone who will run towards, not away from, solving the company’s hardest problems.

Our work culture is intense and isn’t for everyone. But if you want to build the future alongside others who excel in their disciplines and expect the same from you, there’s no better place to be.

While many roles at Coinbase are remote-first, we are not remote-only. In-person participation is required throughout the year. Team and company-wide offsites are held multiple times annually to foster collaboration, connection, and alignment. Attendance is expected and fully supported.

We’re hiring a Senior Product Manager to own and scale our Recruiting Technology ecosystem—with a focus on system integration, process optimization, and data-driven enablement across Talent Acquisition, People Analytics, and the broader HR stack.

This role sits within our Future of Work domain and reports directly to the Head of HR Technology.

You’ll drive platform strategy and execution across our recruiting stack—including Greenhouse (ATS), scheduling, sourcing, and candidate experience tools—while ensuring tight integration with systems like Workday and downstream analytics platforms. At the same time, you’ll play a key role in identifying, testing, and scaling emerging AI technologies that can unlock new efficiencies and elevate the candidate and recruiter experience.

This role requires a strong foundation in systems architecture, process design, and technical vendor management, paired with a forward-looking mindset to keep our tech stack both modern and high-performing.

What You’ll Do
  • Own and evolve our end-to-end recruiting tech stack, including Greenhouse (ATS), sourcing tools, scheduling platforms, the career site, and candidate-facing experiencesAct as the primary product owner for Greenhouse, managing configurations, integrations, and continuous improvements
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition, People Analytics, and IT to streamline hiring workflows, reduce manual effort, and improve data quality and visibility
  • Ensure tight, reliable integrations between recruiting systems and platforms like Workday, Slack, and downstream analytics/reporting tools
  • Analyze system usage and process friction to identify opportunities for automation, simplification, and impact
  • Evaluate and pilot emerging AI tools across the entire recruiting ecosystem
  • Drive vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and roadmap alignment to ensure accountability and delivery
  • Define and track metrics for adoption, recruiter efficiency, time-to-hire, and candidate experience
  • Lead Agile ceremonies and cross-functional collaboration from discovery through launch and iteration
What You Bring
  • 8+ years of experience managing recruiting or HR technology, with deep hands-on experience in Greenhouse
  • Strong working knowledge of HRIS platforms like Workday and experience managing integrations across systems
  • Demonstrated ability to design and optimize recruiting workflows, automate processes, and increase tool adoption
  • Familiarity with modern recruiting tools across sourcing, scheduling, and candidate engagement
  • Analytical mindset with experience working alongside People Analytics teams to define KPIs and improve funnel health
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and lead technical/vendor conversations with confidence
  • Passion for operational excellence and a track record of using technology to improve recruiter and candidate experience
  • Experience working in Agile environments with tools like Jira and Confluence
Nice to Haves
  • Experience working directly with Talent Acquisition teams or in a high-growth recruiting environment
  • Exposure to AI-enabled recruiting tools and a point of view on how to evaluate or deploy them
  • Experience with recruiting dashboards or analytics platforms (e.g., Looker, Snowflake, Tableau, embedded ATS reporting)
  • Understanding of data privacy and compliance in recruiting systems and global hiring

Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
