We are seeking a Senior Product Manager - Business Applications to join our team. This is a hybrid opportunity based in our Waltham, MA office.
Job Summary
The Senior Product Manager, BizApps Integration will drive the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of the systems and workflows that connect Imprivata's business applications to its product platform — with a focus on tenant provisioning and entitlements. This role owns the product experience that determines how a customer's purchase, renewal, or entitlement change in Salesforce becomes a provisioned, correctly-scoped tenant and license state within Imprivata's Identity Cloud Platform (ICP). The Senior Product Manager will partner closely with the Salesforce and ICP engineering teams, as well as Sales Operations, Finance, Customer Success, and Security, to turn business-process needs into reliable, auditable, and scalable integration capabilities. The ideal candidate brings strong product judgment, technical depth in B2B SaaS provisioning and entitlement models, and the ability to balance data integrity, automation, and time-to-value for customers and internal teams alike.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Own product strategy and roadmap for BizApps integration capabilities spanning tenant provisioning, entitlements, and the Salesforce-to-ICP data and workflow pipeline.
- Lead discovery with Sales Operations, Finance, Customer Success, and Support to identify high-value provisioning and entitlement automation opportunities.
- Translate business requirements into clear use cases, data contracts, success metrics, rollout plans, and admin/API experience patterns for provisioning and entitlement flows.
- Partner with the Salesforce and ICP engineering teams to define and deliver reliable, observable integrations with clear SLAs/SLOs around provisioning latency, entitlement accuracy, and tenant lifecycle state.
- Drive standards-first, API-driven integration between Salesforce (CPQ, Order Management) and ICP, minimizing manual and error-prone provisioning steps.
- Define and track health metrics for the provisioning and entitlement pipeline (e.g., time-to-provision, entitlement drift/discrepancy rate, manual override volume) and drive continuous reduction of manual intervention.
- Work with Engineering teams to break epics down into stories; refine stories with business rules, acceptance criteria, and data validation requirements.
- Prioritize backlog to align with release plans; plan stories for future sprints.
- Track progress via daily standups and retrospectives, and problem-solve for delivery risks, especially around cross-system data consistency.
- Support go-to-market, enablement, and expectation-setting with Sales, Sales Operations, Support, Services, and Customer Success regarding provisioning timelines and entitlement behavior.
- Communicate roadmap, priorities, risks, and tradeoffs clearly to executives, cross-functional stakeholders, and the Salesforce/ICP engineering teams.
- Apply LLMs and coding assistants where appropriate to accelerate requirements analysis, data mapping, and workflow prototyping.
- Other duties as assigned and required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 4+ years of product management experience in enterprise software or SaaS, with direct experience in provisioning, entitlements, licensing, or order-to-activation systems.
- Experience shipping integrations or platform capabilities that connect a CRM/ERP system (e.g., Salesforce) to a product or identity platform.
- Working knowledge of entitlement and tenant lifecycle concepts: provisioning, activation, upgrades/downgrades, renewals, suspension, and deprovisioning.
- Demonstrated ability to turn ambiguous cross-functional business problems into product strategy, prioritized requirements, and shipped outcomes.
- Agile Scrum experience as Product Owner and/or Scrum Master.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and cross-functional leadership skills.
- Familiarity with LLMs and coding assistants (e.g., Claude, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) and their application to product management workflows.
- Up to 10% travel required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Direct experience with Salesforce (CPQ, Order Management, or platform APIs) from a product management perspective.
- Healthcare IT, security, privacy, or regulated-industry experience.
- Experience with identity/access concepts (SSO, SCIM, directory sync) as they relate to tenant and entitlement provisioning.
- Familiarity with cloud/SaaS operations including SLOs, observability, incident response, and runbooks for provisioning pipelines.
