The Senior Content Producer plays a pivotal role in bringing brand storytelling to life across print, digital, and eCommerce platforms. This role oversees the end-to-end execution of photo and video productions, ensuring alignment with strategic creative goals. Responsibilities include sourcing and managing talent, crew, and production logistics, while maintaining oversight of photography budgets and vendor relationships. As a key leader within the Content Production team, the Senior Content Producer collaborates closely with Creative and Brand partners to translate marketing strategies into compelling visual content. This role also contributes to the department’s evolution by researching industry trends and proposing innovative initiatives. This role brings a senior/executive producer-level lens to production innovation, vendor capabilities, and workflow improvement.

Major Areas of Responsibility

  • Shoot Planning & Execution 
    Lead the end-to-end production of photo and video shoots, ensuring alignment with creative strategy and brand objectives. Manage all aspects from pre-production through post-production, including location scouting, talent booking, and crew coordination. Use approved production tools and digital workflows to strengthen pre-production planning, shot planning, asset tracking, and post production coordination.  
  • Budget Oversight & Financial Management 
    Develop and manage shoot estimates and annual photography budgets across brands. Track expenses, forecast costs, and ensure all projects are delivered within financial parameters.
  • Creative Partnership & Scheduling 
    Collaborate with Creative Directors, Art Directors, Project Managers, and Brand teams to align shoot schedules with campaign timelines and sample availability. Ensure production meets creative briefs and marketing goals. Advise Creative and Brand partners on production approaches, emerging technologies, and workflow opportunities that support business objectives.
  • Vendor & Contract Management 
    Source and negotiate with external vendors including photographers, stylists, models, and crew. Manage contracts and ensure compliance with TJX standards and legal requirements. Evaluate vendor capabilities, production innovations, and emerging technologies as part of partner selection and project planning.
  • Team Leadership & Mentorship 
    Provide guidance and support to team members, offering direction and training as needed. Foster a collaborative team environment and contribute to a culture of excellence and innovation.
  • Trend Research & Industry Engagement 
    Stay current on photography trends, talent, and production resources. Attend industry events and conferences to bring fresh ideas and initiatives to the department. Stay current on production trends, emerging technologies, including AI- enabled solutions, creative workflows and vendor capabilities to bring innovative solutions and efficiencies to the department
  • Legal & Compliance Coordination 
    Work closely with the Legal department to ensure proper usage rights and compliance with corporate policies and procedures. Partner with Legal and internal stakeholders to understand usage right and compliance requirements related to new production approaches and vendor workflows.
  • Special Projects & Assignments 
    Support ad hoc initiatives and assignments that contribute to departmental growth and strategic goals.

Who We’re Looking for: You.

  • 4 Years in production related role
  • Bachelor’s degree in Content Production, Film/Video Production, Photography, Media Production, Communications, Marketing, Digital Media, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and time management 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills 
  • Proven ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships 
  • Skilled in managing multiple projects with shifting priorities 
  • Forward-thinking with a passion for innovation 
  • Resourceful, driven, and eager to learn 
  • Comfortable working in the gray and prioritizing effectively 
  • Working knowledge of evolving production technologies, digital workflows, and industry best practices
  • Ability to evaluate vendor technology capabilities and translate innovation opportunities into practical production recommendations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, SharePoint, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)

This position has a starting salary range of $76,800.00 to $97,900.00 per year. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
