Lead procurement strategies for warehouse categories (MHE, packaging, PPE, MRO), manage supplier negotiations and onboarding, support Procure-to-Pay and local sourcing, ensure contract and KPI compliance, partner with cross-functional teams (Warehouse, Finance, Legal, Logistics), and resolve PO/invoice issues.
Job Responsibilities
• Develop and execute procurement strategies for warehouse-specific categories, including material handling equipment (forklifts, racking, packaging materials (bags, boxes, pallets, stretch film, tape), PPE, cleaning supplies, MRO parts, and services.
• Lead annual and quarterly contract negotiations with key suppliers to secure favorable pricing, payment terms, and service levels.
• Identify and onboard new vendors to improve cost, quality, lead times, or service levels.
• Support Procure to Pay execution and local sourcing activities to meet business needs.
• Work closely with internal teams, Warehouse Operations, Inventory Control, Finance, legal, HR, and Logistics teams.
• Ensure contract compliance by partnering with Legal and vendors.
• Partner with Finance on PO approvals, payment terms, accruals, and resolve invoice issues.
• Ensure compliance with organization KPIs.
• Other responsibilities as assigned by your manager.
• Work in an office + warehouse environment, requiring frequent walking.
Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent certificate
• 5+ year experience in procurement, and 2+ year experience in warehouse procurement
• Experience with supplier or vendor relationship management
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Data analysis skills using Excel (power pivot, advanced formulas)
• Must be highly self-motivated and customer centric
• Ability to work with ambiguity
• Bilingual English and Chinese is a plus
