·   Drive resolution of complex problems spanning device physics, circuit behavior, process technology, yield, reliability, and manufacturing.

·   Analyze device, wafer-level, process, yield, and product-test data to establish relationships between silicon variation and product performance.

·   Identify technology risks and develop mitigation strategies supporting product qualification, capacity expansion, manufacturing transfers, and continuity of supply.

·   Influence device and technology roadmaps, fab strategies, qualification approaches, and technology investment decisions.

·   Mentor senior engineers and strengthen device and silicon expertise across engineering and manufacturing organizations.

Required Qualifications

·   MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Semiconductor Device Physics, Materials Science, Applied Physics, or a related field.

·   15+ years of relevant semiconductor industry experience.

·   Deep expertise in semiconductor device physics, device characterization, and silicon technology.

·   Strong understanding of the relationship between device characteristics, process variation, and product electrical performance.

·   Extensive knowledge of wafer fabrication, process integration, semiconductor manufacturing, and product qualification.

·   Demonstrated experience solving complex technical problems across device, product, process, yield, and reliability domains.

·   Experience supporting technology development, product transfers, fab or foundry qualification, or manufacturing ramps.

·   Strong analytical, technical leadership, and cross-functional communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

·   Broad device expertise across technologies such as CMOS, bipolar or BiCMOS, JFET, high-voltage devices, SiGe, precision passives, and other specialty analog technologies.

·   Experience with analog, mixed-signal, precision, power, RF, or other high-performance semiconductor products.

·   Experience developing or enabling products requiring new devices, device models, test structures, or process capabilities.

·   Experience transferring products or technologies between internal fabs and external foundries.

·   Strong understanding of semiconductor reliability, qualification, device modeling, and failure mechanisms.

·   Demonstrated technical innovation and leadership across global engineering and manufacturing organizations.

Leadership Expectations

·   Recognized organization-wide technical authority in semiconductor devices, silicon technology, and product enablement.

·   Defines technical direction for complex, strategically important product and technology initiatives.

·   Shapes device and technology roadmaps based on future product and manufacturing requirements.

·   Influences senior-level decisions on technology selection, device development, fab strategy, qualification, and investment.

·   Resolves highly complex technical problems spanning multiple engineering disciplines and organizations.

·   Establishes technical methodologies and best practices for product-to-device-to-process understanding.

·   Mentors Principal Engineers and other senior technical contributors.

·   Operates with exceptional autonomy, technical judgment, influence, and accountability.
