About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to manage and process payroll for our U.S.-based employees and coordinate with EMEA local Payroll providers in preparing and auditing Payroll file for 7 EMEA entities. The ideal candidate has deep knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll regulations, is comfortable working with ADP payroll systems and Workday HR system and ensures timely and accurate payroll processing in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do

      For US Payroll 

  • Process bi-weekly/semi-monthly payroll for multi-state U.S. employees in compliance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate reports post-processing
  • Respond to employee payroll inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance teams on payroll-related matters.
  • Assist with audits, both internal and external, related to payroll.
  • Monitor and reconcile all state payroll tax accounts to ensure accurate balances and resolve discrepancies quickly.
  • Track and ensure compliance with tax requirements in multiple states when employees work remotely or across state lines.
  • Stay up to date with changes in payroll laws and best practices.

       For EMEA Payroll

  • Prepare variable payroll data for processing by local payroll providers.
  • Perform payroll controls for verifying the accuracy, completeness, and reasonableness of processed payroll calculations.
  • Preparing payroll-related documentation, including supporting materials for payroll journal entries.

What We’re Looking For

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience: 3+ years of payroll processing experience in a multi-state U.S. environment.
  • Proficiency with payroll software (e.g., ADP, Workday, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state wage and hour laws, including FLSA, FMLA, and payroll tax regulations and filing.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Strong Excel Skills.
  • Ability to consistently meet monthly deadlines.

Compensation

Base pay: $90,000 - $100,000

The salary range listed here has been provided to comply with local regulations and represents a potential base salary range for this role. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range above or below, depending on experience and location. We look at compensation for each individual and base our offer on your unique qualifications, experience, and expected contributions. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation in addition to base salary, such as variable bonus and/or stock bonus.
