About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Partnership Manager to join our team and play a key role in enhancing the success of our marketplace product through high-impact partnerships. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the intake and onboarding of partners into our marketplace, negotiating referral-based partnership agreements, and coordinating technical conversations between our partners and internal product teams.
You’ll serve as a point of contact for external partners while ensuring alignment with internal stakeholders, helping shape the ecosystem around our marketplace product. This is a high-impact role ideal for someone who is experienced in partnership management, thrives in a cross-functional environment, and is comfortable discussing both business and technical concepts.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute partnership project delivery from concept to completion with product teams across multiple complex initiatives aligned with company goals and game industry opportunities.
- Manage a dynamic portfolio of 8-12 partners, including negotiation and execution of partnership agreements scope of work, budget, resourcing, development, marketing and milestones for various partnership tracks.
- Deliver proactive communication and responsive support to partners, prioritizing high-impact relationships and ensuring consistent weekly updates and deliverables.
- Drive collaboration across departments, including product, legal, engineering, marketing, business development, analytics, etc. to quickly and proactively identify and eliminate blockers and ensure alignment and timely deliverables.
- Identify, evaluate, and prioritize new partnership opportunities to expand the ecosystem and drive business growth.
- Track partnership health and performance through structured reporting, contribute to weekly and monthly reports, and regular check-ins.
- Create executive-level reporting and present project status to senior leadership.
- Mentor junior partnership managers including reviewing partnership plans and offering feedback to strengthen proposals, informal check-ins, modeling relationship management excellence, and encouraging knowledge sharing and cross-collaboration.
- Continuously improve partnership processes to ensure consistency, speed, and scalability with post-mortems, documentation, use of AI, and continuous improvements, etc. and become an evangelist for these processes across the organization.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and partner engagements as a trusted ambassador on an as needed basis as we scale the program in coordination with business development.
Qualifications
- 5–10 years of experience in strategic partnerships, technical production, project management or similar account relationship experience in the gaming industry.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a diverse portfolio of 10+ large scale projects concurrently with strong organization and communication skills.
- Proven track record of driving measurable value and positive relationships through partner acquisition, enablement, and retention.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to tailor messaging to partner needs and urgency levels and update partnerships team of ongoing partnerships.
- Strong strategic thinking, negotiation, and analytical skills; highly data-driven.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities.
- Strong familiarity with Atlassian including Jira, Confluence, Atlas, etc.
