About Mimecast

The work people build is worth protecting, and it's harder to protect than it used to be. AI agents now move at machine speed with human-level access, and a small slip-up can become a very public one. We disrupt cybercriminal activity before that happens. We think fast, go big, and always demand more of ourselves. We work hard, deliver, and repeat. We grow with real determination and put success well within reach. We push each other to be better and expect to be pushed back, in a community built on respect, where everyone is counted. Work Protected.

Overview

Mimecast is looking for a Senior Paid Media Manager to own and scale paid acquisition programs across key digital channels. Reporting into the Global Digital Marketing team, you'll drive full-funnel demand generation, cross-sell, and brand campaigns for security practitioners and buying-team decision-makers. You'll manage significant media budgets, lead agency and internal relationships, and turn performance data into clear, actionable strategy across Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Meta Ads, Reddit Ads, display and retargeting, and 6sense Ads.

What You'll Do
  • Plan, execute, and optimize paid media campaigns across Google, LinkedIn, Meta, and Reddit, from strategy through performance reporting.
  • Manage multimillion-dollar media budgets, with accountability for pacing, efficiency, and return on spend.
  • Manage agency partners and internal team members by setting briefs, reviewing outputs, and holding stakeholders to performance standards.
  • Build and present performance reports for senior stakeholders, translating channel data into business impact and strategic recommendations.
  • Partner with content, design, and demand generation teams on audience-specific ad creative and landing-page strategy.
  • Build and manage audience segments, retargeting pools, and account-based targeting lists with marketing operations, Sales, and Field teams.
  • Lead tests across ad copy, creative formats, bidding strategies, and audience targeting.
  • Track channel changes, beta features, and emerging formats, and bring proactive recommendations to the team.
  • Support integrations across the marketing technology stack, including CRM, marketing automation, conversion tracking, and CAPI.
  • Lead AI automation initiatives across paid media workflows.
What You'll Bring
  • Deep hands-on paid media experience and platform expertise across Google Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Meta Ads Manager, and Reddit Ads.
  • A record of managing multimillion-dollar annual media budgets with direct ownership of performance outcomes.
  • Experience managing agency relationships and cross-functional teams, including setting direction, reviewing work, and driving accountability.
  • The ability to build structured performance dashboards, synthesize data from multiple channels, and communicate results clearly to leadership.
  • An analytical approach to using GA4, data warehouses, or BI tools to generate insights and make cases for budget allocation.
  • Experience with conversion tracking, server-side measurement such as CAPI and GTM, and audience syncing across platforms.
  • The ability to use AI to improve efficiency across workflows, channels, functions, and reporting, including more complex tasks and agents at scale.
  • An understanding of how the AI landscape is changing and how paid media influences and interacts with AEO.
  • Clear communication skills for presenting complex performance data to senior stakeholders.
  • The ability to manage multiple concurrent campaigns independently and in an organized way.
  • Preferred: a background in B2B SaaS, cybersecurity, or enterprise technology; agency experience; familiarity with ABM platforms such as 6sense or Demandbase and intent data; Salesforce CRM and marketing automation platforms such as Marketo or HubSpot; and knowledge of the cybersecurity buyer journey for practitioner and executive audiences.

The base salary range for this position is $132,000−$198,000 plus benefits. This range represents the minimum and maximum new hire compensation for this role. The position may also be eligible for incentive plans and additional benefits, in accordance with company policy and local regulations. • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
