Primary Responsibilities:
- Financial Modeling and Strategic Analysis:
- Financial modeling to support actuarial, financial and utilization analyses related to product and pricing initiatives
- Perform various ad hoc projects in a timely and accurate manner
- Identify solutions to non-standard requests and problems
- Critically evaluate information obtained from multiple sources and reconcile discrepancies
- Ensure solid data and process transparency to support methodology integrity and delegation of tasks and responsibilities for department learning opportunities and growth
- Business Partnership:
- Demonstrate a customer service mindset
- Partner with Healthcare Economics teams, Network Contracting and various stakeholders to understand and distinguish requests from the underlying true need
- Proactively anticipate business needs and develop solutions to meet them
- Effectively summarize information while providing supporting data to a variety of audiences
- Support operational and product partners with strategic insights into financial metrics
- Innovation and Process Improvement:
- Seek opportunities to improve processes and identify areas of improvement specifically related to data reliability, efficiency and quality (implement and scale best practices)
- Assist in building, supporting, enhancing and maintaining reports, models and dashboards
- Successfully deploy new processes, tools and models to advance modeling capabilities in a changing environment
- Establish quality control measures to ensure accuracy and integrity of data used to feed forecasts and metrics to support internal and external stakeholders
- Create and maintain applicable project documentation for assigned initiatives

Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of analytical experience in financial analysis, health care pricing, network management, health care economics or related discipline
- 5+ years of experience with provider payment methodologies and healthcare products
- 5+ years of experience in creating and using financial modeling tools, spreadsheets and information acquisition tools Demonstrated progression of technical expertise related to acquisition of new tools and methodologies
- Intermediate level of proficiency in performing financial impact analysis, risk management and data manipulation
- Advanced level of proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint
- Proven excellent communication, time/project management, problem solving and organization skills
- Proven successfully manage expectations
- Willing and able to work Eastern Standard Time Zone hours
Preferred Qualification:
- Knowledge of PowerBI
