About this role
Team Overview
The Core Network Engineering team designs, builds, and operates secure, automated network infrastructure that delivers reliable end-to-end connectivity across global data centers and multi-cloud environments. This role offers the opportunity to shape how connectivity is built and operated across one of the largest and most complex hybrid environments in the industry.
We are a globally distributed engineering team looking for someone who is equally comfortable working across on-premises and cloud networking. You will solve complex connectivity challenges, partner closely with development and infrastructure teams, and help build the standard patterns that support growth, resilience, and speed across the platform.
At its core, this role is about building and scaling automated, end-to-end connectivity across data centers, cloud platforms, and external integrations. As a Network Engineer, you will lead the design and delivery of hybrid connectivity solutions, drive automation-first engineering practices, and establish standard patterns that improve scalability, resilience, and speed of delivery.
As a Network Engineer focused on end-to-end connectivity and automation, you will:
Own the design and delivery of end-to-end network connectivity across multi-cloud, data center, and third-party environments
Define and implement scalable, resilient network architecture patterns for global hybrid environments
Design and deliver connectivity solutions for cloud-to-cloud, on-premises, and external client/vendor integrations
Lead automation-first network delivery using Infrastructure-as-Code and CI/CD pipelines
Develop reusable network modules, templates, and standardized connectivity patterns
Ensure secure network design through segmentation, encryption, and policy enforcement
Own lifecycle management of network platforms, including modernization and technical debt reduction
Drive high availability, scalability, and operational reliability across network services
Provide technical consultation and collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver integrated solutions
Lead and contribute to engineering initiatives that drive platform improvements and delivery outcomes
Provide technical guidance and oversight to ensure high-quality, scalable network solutions
Drive continuous improvement of networking services, standards, and engineering practices
Required Skills and Experience:
6+ years of experience in network engineering and cloud environments
Network knowledge equivalent to the Cisco CCNP Route level
Strong understanding of networking fundamentals including BGP routing
Experience with firewalls and VPN technologies (e.g., Cisco ASA, Checkpoint)
Strong expertise in cloud networking (Azure, AWS; GCP a plus)
Experience designing and implementing VPC and VNet architectures, including cloud-to-cloud and on-premises-to-cloud connectivity
Deep experience securing complex network architectures across on-premises and cloud environments
Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform preferred)
Experience automating network configuration. Familiarity with Ansible for infrastructure automation is a plus
Familiarity with DevOps/GitOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
Nice to have:
Experience with DevOps tooling such as Azure DevOps
Familiarity deploying and operating containerized workloads using Kubernetes (AKS preferred), including cluster networking, ingress, service mesh, and policy enforcement
Who you are:
A hands-on engineer who takes ownership and drives complex problems to resolution
Someone who values automation, standardization, and durable engineering practices
Comfortable making architectural decisions and working across design and delivery
Focused on building secure, reliable, and scalable solutions in complex environments
An effective partner who works well across teams, functions, and regions
