Are you ready to take the reins in the dynamic world of marketing analytics? We’re seeking a visionary Senior Marketing Analytics Engineer who is passionate about building a cutting-edge analytics infrastructure that drives our marketing success! In this pivotal role, you’ll not only lead the design and implementation of innovative solutions but also inspire a culture of collaboration and creativity within our Marketing Analytics Enablement team.

Core responsibilities

  • Strategic Technical Leadership: Responsible for driving a robust marketing analytics infrastructure, ensuring technical alignment with organizational goals and fostering a culture of innovation. 

  • Collaborative Partnerships: Build synergy with the Marketing Product team and Data Office, contributing to cross-organizational initiatives. 

  • Technical Mentorship: Guide and mentor team members, promoting professional growth and a collaborative environment focused on continuous improvement. 

  • Data Safety and Security: Drive and enforce data safety standards, collaborating with security teams to protect sensitive information. 

  • Hands-on Technical Contribution: Lead by example through active coding and technical problem-solving, especially in complex scenarios, to ensure high-quality deliverables and inspire the team.

This role is crucial in enhancing the quality of measurement for global marketing performance and recommendations at the LEGO Group. As a member of the Marketing Analytics Enablement team, this position focuses on developing a comprehensive analytics infrastructure to support the Global 

Do you have what it takes?

  • Extensive background in data engineering, data science, computer science, marketing analytics or equivalent practical experience

  • Demonstrated experience in leading data projects within large and/or complex organizations, showcasing the ability to navigate intricate data infrastructures. 

  • Skilled at conveying complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences, with a focus on creating clear documentation and facilitating knowledge transfer through workshops and presentations. 

  • Expert skills, with the ability to mentor others in SQL and Pythonwith extensive experience in manipulating large structured and unstructured datasets. 

  • Deep understanding of Apache Spark, including tuning Spark jobs for optimal performance and efficiency in complex data environments. 

  • Proven track record of leveraging DataBricks, including Asset Bundles and Lakeflow Declarative Pipelines (formerly DLT), for both batch and streaming data, with an emphasis on optimizing performance and scalability. 

  • Self-driven with a strong sense of ownership and accountability for large-scale initiatives, demonstrating the ability to lead projects from conception through execution. 

  • Highly thorough and detail-oriented, with a proven ability to adapt to changing priorities and environments while maintaining a focus on delivering business value through data-driven strategies.

  • This is a Senior Manager level role based at 1001 Boylston St. in Boston, MA.

Compensation

The salary for this position has a range of $124,706.00 - $187,060.00 based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law. The comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of benefits, will be communicated upon finalisation of the employment offer.
