Core responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of a robust marketing analytics infrastructure for long-term success
- Lead a culture of synergy and collaboration of the Marketing Analytics Enablement team with Marketing Product and Data Office teams
- Optimize data queries and improve performance of analytics tools to support timely project delivery
- Manage large structured and unstructured datasets
- Create and document best practices for data manipulation and transformation
- Lead documenting data processes and create user-friendly guides
- Develop and maintain ETL processes, ensuring data quality and integrity
- Mentor team members on analytics tools, innovative systems and methodologies
- Be a role model of imagination, fun, creativity, caring, learning and quality

The Marketing Analytics Enablement team is dedicated to building a comprehensive marketing analytics infrastructure that supports the Global Marketing Performance team.
This role is crucial in driving consistency in measurement standards and unlocking actionable insights through data. By collaborating closely with the Global Marketing Performance teams, Marketing Product teams and Data Office, the Senior Marketing Analytics Engineer will ensure that data-driven strategies are effectively implemented, enhancing the overall marketing performance of the organization
Do you have what it takes?
- Extensive background in data engineering, data science, computer science, marketing analytics or equivalent practical experience
- Expert skills in Python and/or Scala and SQL with extensive experience in manipulating large structured and unstructured datasets
- Deep understanding of Apache Spark, including tuning Spark jobs for optimal performance and efficiency in complex data environments
- Proven track record of leveraging DataBricks, including Asset Bundles and Lakeflow Declarative Pipelines (formerly DLT), for both batch and streaming data, with
an emphasis on optimizing performance and scalability - Significant experience in designing and implementing complex extract, transform, load (ETL) processes, with a strong grasp of data transformation best practices and the ability to develop innovative solutions
- Self-driven with a strong sense of ownership and accountability for large-scale initiatives, demonstrating the ability to lead projects from conception through
execution - Skilled at conveying complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences, with a focus on creating clear documentation and facilitating knowledge transfer through workshops and presentations
- Highly thorough and detail-oriented, with a proven ability to adapt to changing priorities and environments while maintaining a focus on delivering business value
through data-driven strategies - Experience in mentoring junior team members and fostering a collaborative team culture, contributing to the professional growth of peers

Compensation
The salary for this position has a range of $124,706.00 - $187,060.00 based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law. The comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of benefits, will be communicated upon finalisation of the employment offer.Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis.
