The Senior Manager, Sales – North America is responsible for leading the commercial growth of our Biologics business across the United States and Canada. This leadership role is responsible for developing and executing regional sales strategy, building a high-performing sales organization, and expanding Genedata's footprint within the world's leading pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. The successful candidate will drive revenue growth while fostering trusted executive relationships with key industry decision makers. 

This position reports to the Global Head of Sales, Genedata Biologics and is part of the Sales organization located in Greater Boston Area, Massachusetts and will be an on-site role.   

In this role, you will have the opportunity to: 

  • Lead, coach, and develop the North America Biologics sales team to achieve ambitious growth targets.

  • Define and execute regional sales strategies, territory plans, and pipeline management processes.

  • Build, develop, and maintain strategic relationships within the Top 20 global pharmaceutical companies and other leading biotechnology organizations.

  • Drive new customer acquisition and expansion opportunities within existing accounts.

  • Lead complex enterprise software sales cycles from prospecting through negotiation and contract closure.

  • Partner closely with Scientific Account Management, Professional Services, Marketing, Product Management, and Customer Success teams to maximize business impact.

  • Recruit, develop, and retain top commercial talent while fostering a high-performance, customer-centric culture.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • 10+ years of successful enterprise software, SaaS, scientific informatics, or life sciences technology sales experience.

  • Demonstrated success selling to pharmaceutical and biotechnology organizations, including large enterprise accounts.

  • Strong understanding of biologics R&D, scientific data management, laboratory informatics, or digital transformation initiatives within life sciences.

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MSc, or PhD) preferred.

  

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: 

  • Previous people leadership experience managing and developing high-performing sales teams.

The salary range for this role is $140,000 – $160,000 . This job is also eligible for incentive pay, and the total compensation target is $250,000 USD annually.

This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
