About Salesforce

Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn’t a buzzword — it’s a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.

Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You’re in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.

Salesforce is navigating a foundational shift in how the world understands the intersection of software and labor. We are moving beyond the era of isolated AI tools toward a unified, enterprise AI architecture where AI doesn't just assist but acts. The System of Context – the Salesforce data layer, including products like Data360 and MuleSoft – sit at the heart of this architecture and transforms raw, fragmented data into governed, actionable context for AI agents to reason from rather than guess. As enterprises race to become AI-first, the ability to articulate how this system will provide the context that powers the rest of the Salesforce architecture will be central to how Salesforce leads and defines the agentic era.

This isn't just a product comms role, it’s a narrative leadership opportunity. You will be responsible for crafting the perception of how Salesforce’s System of Context functions and acts as the enterprise's "shared memory" — built on Data 360 + MuleSoft + Informatica. As a key member of the team, you will be the bridge between technical architectures and the media’s understanding of our AI strategy.

The ideal candidate is a technical storyteller who can simplify complex AI and platform technologies into agenda-setting stories, thriving in a high-visibility environment where priorities evolve in a heartbeat.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience: 8+ years in communications, with a focus on B2B Tech, SaaS, or AI. Experience with product-led-growth (PLG) models is a plus.

  • Technical Literacy: Ability to become a true subject-matter expert on topics like RAG, metadata, workflows, and agent orchestration.

  • Executive Presence: Proven experience providing counsel to Product and Engineering leaders to refine technical narratives.

  • Narrative Agility: A no ego, highly collaborative attitude with the ability to pivot as product features or launch dates shift.

  • Writing Excellence: Exceptional ability to turn complex concepts into compelling, human-centered stories that resonate with tier-1 business and tech media.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Product Storytelling & Media Relations

  • The Agentic Narrative: Develop and land the story of Salesforce foundational architecture layer, the System of Context, including how it functions as the enterprise’s “shared memory” that transforms raw, fragmented data into governed, actionable context for AI agents.

  • Innovation Discovery: Partner deeply with Product and Engineering to identify disruptive features—from AI-powered workflows to data integrations—mining for stories before they hit the market.

  • Next-Gen Media Expansion: Build and cultivate a new network of relationships with emerging media, influential tech creators, and Substack writers to reach the next generation of customers.

  • Consumer-Centric Storytelling: Translate complex enterprise AI concepts into relatable narratives for mainstream and consumer-centric media, illustrating how agentic technology improves the daily lives and experiences of individual humans.

  • Launch & Content Execution: Lead the end-to-end comms lifecycle for product launches, including messaging frameworks and technical FAQs, while ghostwriting high-impact blog posts, scripts, and bylines to drive the narrative.

Stakeholder Management & Strategy

  • Technical Advisor: Serve as a trusted partner to stakeholders, prepping them for interviews and how to navigate sensitive topics.

  • Agency Orchestration: Direct external agency partners to ensure they are hitting proactive pitching targets and are deeply briefed on the nuances of the agentic enterprise.

  • Global Alignment: Collaborate with global comms leads to ensure product messaging is consistent across regions while remaining culturally and technically relevant.

Unleash Your Potential
