The Corporate Development & Ventures group at Bose seeks to accelerate our corporate strategy through mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and corporate venture capital (CVC) investments and will:
- Identify and acquire, external technologies, capabilities or businesses that accelerate existing businesses plans or create new Bose businesses
- Develop and execute a CVC strategy that makes strategic investments in start-up companies
- Establish a “center of excellence” for assessing, valuing, negotiating, and executing deals
- Establish an Integration Management Office (IMO) to drive the post-acquisition integration; and
- Help champion a culture within Bose that seeks and embraces outside technology and ideas
A diligent approach to integration management is essential to ensure a successful inorganic growth strategy, consequently, the IMO Manager will lead the end-to-end integration of acquisitions and strategic investments, ensuring operational alignment, cultural fit, and value realization. This individual will collaborate across functions to drive post transaction integration success and support strategic transformation initiatives within Bose. This position will report to the Head of Corporate Development & Ventures.
What you will be responsible for- Design and manage integration plans across functions (Product, Engineering, Marketing, HR, Finance, Legal, etc.)
- Partner closely with Corporate Development, Business Units, and acquired entities to define integration goals, scope, success metrics, and timelines
- Lead cross-functional teams to execute integration activities and resolve operational or strategic risks
- Establish and manage governance models and communication plans for all integration efforts
- Create templates, tools, and playbooks to institutionalize integration best practices within the organization
- Monitor synergy realization and report progress to executive leadership
- Identify, mitigate, and where appropriate, escalate impediments to synergy realization
- Develop deep understanding of Bose’s organizational structure, business needs, and technical capabilities to inform integration strategies
- Support diligence teams by providing integration perspectives early in the deal lifecycle
- Bachelor's Degree is required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred
- 5–10 years of experience in project management, post-merger integration, management consulting, corporate development, or a related field
- Self-driven, entrepreneurial with excellent business acumen and intellectual curiosity
- Strong project management skills with experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives
- Confidence, presence, and credibility to command the respect of all stakeholders
- Solid team player with demonstrated ability to drive cohesion, communicate clearly, and influence without authority
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to manage integration complexities
- Passion for innovation, business transformation, and cross-company collaboration
- Technical fluency and comfort working in technology-driven organizations
