Job Description

Why This Role

We're building IntegriChain's legal operations function from scratch, and we're looking for the person who wants to own it. Today, a small and very capable legal team runs on goodwill and manual effort. You'll give it systems — starting with a contract lifecycle management (CLM) platform and a GRC platform like OneTrust — and in doing so, shape how a fast-growing life sciences data and technology company handles contracts, policy, and compliance for years to come.

This is a rare “first legal ops hire” opportunity: real scope, real budget, a direct line to the SVP, Legal, and a close partnership with our VP, Security & Compliance. If you like building things and don’t need a playbook handed to you, you’ll do well here.

What You'll Do

Bring in the systems. Lead the selection, implementation, and rollout of our CLM platform — intake, templates and clause library, approval routing, e-signature, obligation and renewal tracking, reporting. Do the same for a GRC platform such as OneTrust, partnering with Security & Compliance on policy management, risk registers, and vendor risk. You’ll own these tools as the business admin and make sure people actually use them.

Design the process. Map how contracts move through the company today, then build the version that works: clear intake, sensible triage, self-service where it makes sense, and no more mystery about where something is. Create the playbooks, templates, and checklists the team has never had time to write down.

Stand up policy and training. Build a real policy management process — drafting standards, review and approval, versioning, publication, attestation, and a review cadence people can keep. Support a policy gap assessment against our regulatory and framework obligations, and help run the compliance training program so completion tracking and reporting stop being a fire drill.

Make the data useful. Define the metrics that matter — cycle time, volume and mix, escalation trends, policy and training completion — and build the dashboards that let Legal have better conversations with the business and with leadership.

Support privacy operations. Help run DSAR intake and tracking, data mapping, and privacy assessment workflow, and support customer privacy and security diligence alongside the Security team.

Be a great teammate. Pitch in on what the legal team needs: contract administration, execution logistics, corporate records, outside counsel and budget coordination, and the occasional project nobody expected. You’ll be the bridge between Legal and Sales, Finance, Procurement, Security, and People.

Qualifications

What We're Looking For

  • Hands-on ownership of a CLM implementation or a comparable enterprise systems rollout, from requirements through adoption
  • Working knowledge of GRC or privacy platforms — OneTrust, LogicGate, Vanta, AuditBoard, or similar
  • A builder’s instinct for process: you’ve created structure where none existed and documented it well enough that it stuck
  • Comfort with data — Microsoft 365, e-signature tools, and building reporting that people actually read
  • Clear, plain-language communication with people who don’t work in Legal
  • Good judgment and discretion with confidential information
  • Self-direction and the ability to prioritize when everything feels urgent

Nice to have: experience in life sciences, healthcare, or SaaS; familiarity with SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, GDPR, or state privacy laws; experience administering compliance training or an LMS.

What Success Looks Like in Year One

CLM live with a complete, trustworthy contract repository. GRC platform implemented with policy and vendor risk in production. A finished policy gap assessment with a prioritized roadmap and a working review and attestation cycle. Compliance training running on a documented calendar. And a baseline set of legal ops metrics we report on regularly.
