Senior Manager – IT Change Management, Learning and Communications Lead

Lead the enterprise IT Change Management, Training, and Communications functions, developing strategies and methodologies to enable successful technology adoption and digital transformation across the organization.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Establish and lead the enterprise IT Change Management, Training, and Communications functions, including the development of strategy, governance, and operating model.
- Coordinate change and strategy with the Transformation office.
- Coordinate change and strategy with Strategy Office.
- Coordinate change and strategy with ESPHORA ERP Program.
- Design and implement standardized change management methodologies, tools, and frameworks to support technology initiatives across the organization.
- Develop and oversee comprehensive training and communication strategies that enable successful adoption of technology changes and digital transformation efforts.
- Partner with IT leadership, program managers, and business stakeholders to develop and execute integrated change, training, and communication plans for major initiatives.
- Lead the creation and delivery of targeted training programs, learning materials, and communication campaigns to ensure stakeholder readiness and engagement.
- Identify and assess organizational impacts of technology changes and develop mitigation strategies to address change risks and adoption barriers.
- Integrate change management, training, and communication practices into project management, portfolio management, and service management processes.
- Define and track key performance indicators to measure change adoption, training effectiveness, communication reach, and overall organizational readiness.
- Provide guidance and coaching to project teams and leaders on change management, training, and communication best practices.
- Develop and scale a high-performing team across change management, training, and communications as organizational needs evolve.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, effective communication, learning, and proactive change adoption across the IT organization.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Advanced Degree (MBA, MS, or equivalent) preferred
- Change management certification such as Prosci, ACMP, or similar preferred.
Experience and Required Skills
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in organizational change management, program leadership, or transformation initiatives within IT organizations.
- Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience managing enterprise change initiatives or leading change management functions.
- Demonstrated experience establishing or building a change management capability within an organization.
- Experience supporting large-scale technology implementations or digital transformation initiatives.
- Strong understanding of change management frameworks, stakeholder engagement strategies, and adoption methodologies.
- Experience working within complex organizations, preferably in healthcare or healthcare technology environments.
- Excellent executive communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to influence senior leaders and drive alignment across cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking capabilities.
- Familiarity with IT delivery methodologies such as Agile, SAFe, or ITIL is preferred.
The rate of pay for this position will depend on the successful candidate’s work location and qualifications, including relevant education, work experience, skills, and competencies.
Rate: $150,000 - 190,000 for Waltham, MA
