About the role

CG Oncology is seeking a Senior Manager, IT Business Partner - Commercial Systems to lead support, administration, and continuous improvement of Commercial enterprise applications as the company advances toward commercialization.

This role serves as the primary IT partner for Commercial systems supporting functions such as Patient Access, Sales & Market Access, Marketing, Communications, and Business Analytics. The individual will partner closely with business stakeholders, vendors, and internal IT teams to ensure systems are scalable, compliant, secure, and aligned with business needs.

The ideal candidate brings strong experience supporting Commercial platforms in biotech, pharma, or other regulated environments, along with a practical understanding of system lifecycle management, integrations, vendor management, and operational support.

Essential Functions

Commercial Systems Support & Administration

  • Serve as the IT lead for Commercial applications and platforms
  • Provide ongoing system administration, user access management, configuration support, and issue resolution
  • Manage support tickets, escalations, system maintenance, and vendor coordination
  • Ensure system reliability, compliance, security, and operational performance
  • Support integrations and data flows across Commercial and enterprise systems

Business Partnership & Solution Delivery

  • Partner with Commercial stakeholders to gather requirements, identify improvements, and support business priorities
  • Translate business needs into scalable technology solutions and enhancement requests
  • Lead or support system implementations, upgrades, releases, and roadmap planning
  • Facilitate cross-functional coordination across IT, Finance, Compliance, HR, and Commercial teams
  • Help standardize processes, improve user adoption, and optimize existing technology investments

Compliance, Governance & Vendor Management

  • Support compliant system operations in alignment with company policies and applicable regulatory requirements
  • Maintain audit-ready documentation for system administration, change management, and access controls
  • Coordinate vendor releases, upgrades, enhancements, and issue remediation
  • Assess impacts of system changes and support testing, communication, and training activities

Process Improvement & User Enablement

  • Identify opportunities to improve scalability, usability, integrations, and operational efficiencies
  • Develop and maintain support documentation, SOPs, and knowledge resources
  • Support user training and communication related to system changes and best practices

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Systems, Life Sciences, or related field
  • 7+ years of experience supporting enterprise or Commercial systems in biotech, pharmaceutical, life sciences, or other regulated environments
  • Experience supporting Commercial platforms such as CRM, data warehouse, marketing technologies, master data management, or related systems
  • Strong understanding of system administration, integrations, SDLC, access management, and change control
  • Experience partnering with business stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills

Preferred

  • Experience supporting platforms such as Salesforce, Marketing Cloud, Snowflake, Tableau, Veeva, Azure, AWS, MuleSoft, or Boomi
  • Experience in a high-growth biotech or pre-commercial organization
  • Certifications such as PMP, ITIL, Salesforce, SnowPro, or related technology certifications
  • Experience supporting system implementations, integrations, or enterprise scaling initiatives
