Job DescriptionWe are seeking an ambitious, results-oriented marketer to join Informa TechTarget’s Corporate Marketing team. Our team is responsible for key components of our go-to-market strategy, including strengthening brand awareness, engaging prospects and customers, and educating media and analysts through content, events and digital experiences.
This role requires a specific skill set to help accelerate the building out of our inbound digital marketing Awareness program. This marketer is comfortable with both strategy and execution; they will help both define the future and implement it. Core components of the role include digital advertising, SEO, content creation, media relations, press monitoring and reporting. Primary objectives involve generating broad brand awareness, directly influencing our ICP through advertising and earned media, generating effective site traffic, and driving demo requests and inbound leads.
Responsibilities:
As a Senior Manager, Inbound Digital Marketing and Communications on our Corporate Marketing Team, you will:
- Work directly with the VP of Corporate Communications and Senior Director of Demand Generation on the inbound digital marketing strategy on their shared objectives. This includes clearly outlining the goals, objectives, strategies and tactics of the program, generating alignment across stakeholders, and then building an actionable plan.
- Implement an evolved SEO strategy for the Informa TechTarget site. Use monitoring tools to optimize existing site pages and content while also planning pillar content specifically for SEO purposes.
- Partner with our digital advertising and PR agency to ideate, produce, launch, measure and optimize paid social, PPC, and other recommended advertising.
- Write press releases, media pitches, blog posts and other content on priority Informa TechTarget topics.
- Partner with our advertising and PR agency to conduct proactive media relations and influencer outreach to secure placements in priority publications and sites.
- Receive and manage inbound media requests and questions.
- Oversee inbound reporting across all campaigns and activities and continuously optimize future programs.
- Facilitate project kick-offs and strategic planning sessions, knowing when to actively lead, when to create space for others, and when to draw out energy and insight from extended teams.
- Significant expertise in inbound marketing, including SEO/SEM, paid social (especially LinkedIn), programmatic display networks, etc.
- A successful track record in managing PR programs and activations, including involvement in media relations outreach, creating materials like press releases and blog posts, securing placements and implementing media training.
- Documented exposure to the fast-paced and ever-evolving B2B marketing space.
- Clear evidence of strong written and verbal communication skills that can be leveraged across a range of mediums, from engaging internal partners with a well-worded email to building rapport with a media contact.
- Reliability; being accountable for deadlines and projects, and communicating early and clearly when challenges arise.
- A fast assimilator, with the ability to quickly adopt and execute new marketing ideas, methods and technologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- 7-8+ years of demonstrable experience in corporate communications, PR, marketing, or at a marketing agency
- Public relations experience in-house or at a PR agency
- Expertise in SEO, digital advertising, web analytics and reporting
- A track record for successfully managing projects
- Strong interpersonal skills and experience building internal and external relationships
The salary range for this role is $105,187 to $127,500 based on experience.
