About This Role:
The Senior Manager, HCP Marketing will play a central role in shaping HCP engagement for a key growth driver within Biogen’s North American Neuropsychiatry Franchise. This role supports the development of HCP brand strategy for an innovative product addressing significant unmet need in Postpartum Depression (PPD), with a strong focus on non-personal promotion and omnichannel engagement.
We’re looking for a marketer who goes beyond strategy decks – someone who shapes the work, partners seamlessly with Medical, Regulatory and Legal, and ensures ideas translate into high-quality, channel-ready execution. You will define not just what we say, but how it shows up across the HCP engagement ecosystem, collaborating closely with Omnichannel Excellence (OCE) & Insights teams.
This role is likely a strong fit if you:
· Have built or optimized HCP marketing assets (emails, banners, websites, social, CRM journeys)
· Are comfortable navigating Medical, Legal, and Regulatory feedback to land compliant, high-quality content
· Enjoy rolling up your sleeves in execution as well as setting strategy
· Can collaborate with agencies to shape creative and tactical approaches
What You’ll Do
· Lead HCP brand strategy and oversee execution of non-personal promotion (NPP) across CRM/email, digital, social, and web, ensuring a cohesive, insight-driven customer experience.
· Partner with OCE and Insights teams to translate strategy into engagement plans and optimize performance across channels.
· Develop and optimize content with Medical, Legal, and Regulatory, balancing compliance, accuracy, and channel-appropriate execution.
· Guide agencies and embed a test-and-learn mindset to improve content and engagement.
· Collaborate cross-functionally with Field, OCE, Insights, Market Access, Consumer, Corporate Communications, and Finance.
· Lead multiple complex initiatives simultaneously, driving alignment across stakeholders while maintaining strong oversight of execution.
Who You Are
You are a brand-first marketer who understands that execution is just as important as strategy. You can move seamlessly between big-picture thinking and in-the-weeds detail, defining strategy and directly shaping how it comes to life.
You have a strong understanding of non-personal and digital channels and are confident guiding teams to translate strategy into actionable, data-driven engagement.
You collaborate effectively with MLR, OCE, and Insights teams, influence senior stakeholders, and shape tactical deliverables with both confidence and pragmatism.
You demonstrate the ability to compassionately relate to and engage with providers and patients in the PPD space. You love to innovate across all areas including strategic programs and tactics that leverage advancements in technology, media, and communications.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
· 5+ years of pharma or biotech commercial experience, including at least 2 years in marketing (agency or consulting experience considered).
· Working knowledge of key digital channels (CRM/email, paid media, web) and how content must adapt to perform effectively.
· Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence across functions and levels.
Preferred Skills
· Experience in Women’s Health or Mental Health.
· Launch experience, particularly with omnichannel campaigns.
