This role, reporting to the Director of Centralized Enablement, leads a team of Project Managers who are responsible for the end-to-end delivery of enablement and education initiatives for new launches and features to support product proficiency across customers and global Customer Success teams at Toast. This leader provides operational oversight across planning, execution, and launch, ensuring clear inputs, defined success criteria, aligned timelines, and strong cross-functional coordination.
The team this leader will oversee drives complex, cross-functional efforts such as enterprise-wide product launches, partnering closely with content teams, Enablement program managers, Customer Success, Product, Marketing, and Sales. As a Senior Manager, you will ensure education touchpoints launch on time, outcomes are measured against strategic goals, and continuous improvements are made- while delivering a consistent, high-quality project management experience for the teams they support.
A day in the life (Responsibilities)
Leads and develops a team of Project Managers, providing coaching, mentorship, and strategic direction to foster operational excellence, stakeholder influence, and professional growth within the team, and serving as an escalation point when needed.
- Collaborate with leaders in Product & Engineering Go-to-Market Teams, Customer Care, Onboarding, and Customer Success to assess, improve upon, and maintain processes and standards that will allow for Enablement’s continued growth and team scalability.
- Oversees the enablement project portfolio, managing capacity, prioritization, and delivery timelines across cross-functional initiatives to ensure on-time execution, alignment with strategic goals, and consistent achievement of quality and performance standards.
- Ensures all projects define clear input → behavior → output metrics tied to measurable business outcomes.
- Owns standardized project frameworks (intake, prioritization, metrics tracking) to ensure consistency and cross-functional alignment.
What you'll need to thrive (Requirements)
Minimum of 4 years experience in Enablement, Project Management, Consulting, Product Management or an Operations role in a fast-paced, high-growth, and high-output environment
- 3+ years of people management experience, with a proven ability to coach, develop, and inspire project managers or enablement professionals.
- Knowledge of SaaS release processes
- Proven ability to analyze trends, recommend and gain buy-in on the right solutions for complicated business needs, and follow through to completion
- Confident working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment with ambiguity
- Experience leading large cross-functional initiatives
- Passionate about technology, hospitality, and developing people
- Creative, analytical, and execution-oriented

The base salary range for this role is listed below. The starting salary will be determined based on skills and experience. In addition to base salary, our total rewards components include cash compensation (overtime, bonus/commissions, if eligible), benefits, and equity (if eligible).
