Senior Manager, Data Analytics & Insights

As a Senior Manager within the WI Internal Analytics, Insights and Reporting team this person will be focused on bringing deep data expertise to support internal analytic initiatives & projects.  These initiatives will drive improvement and efficiencies for Fidelity Workplace Investing (WI) across a diverse array of solutions and approaches.  You will partner to build cross-functional relationships with business and analytics colleagues.  This is an opportunity to provide your insights and enable Workplace Investments to make the data-driven decisions required to meet their strategic objectives.   

The Expertise We’re Looking For                                                                   

  • Bachelors or equivalent with 5+ years of experience.
  • In depth knowledge in a variety of analytics techniques including profiling, data mining, modeling, statistical analysis, and campaign measurement.
  • Experience working with data environments and strong knowledge in querying language and/or querying applications (SQL, Alteryx, Python) to create, manipulate and transform large datasets.
  • Working experience with Adobe Analytics or equivalent platforms like Google Analytics.
  • Working experience with PowerBI, Tableau or equivalent data visualization tools.
  • Experience in interacting with cross functional partners within the organization and crafting presentations that convey the data narrative.
  • Financial industry experience, a plus.

The Purpose of Your Role

You will serve as Senior Manager for analytics & insights work reporting on the various improvement initiatives that cut across our Workplace (WI) business units.  You will play a key role in our overall transformation to a platform enabled and capability-led Digital Future to benefit our clients & participants.

You will drive leading class analytics, experimentation, insight generation--harnessing our underlying platforms that collect and deliver millions of interactions and transactions across our channels (web, mobile, phones, etc.)

  • You have a deep understanding of analytical techniques and how they can be applied to address particular problem characteristics.
  • You have a strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in the areas of strategy development, business analysis, risks, and opportunity assessment.
  • You have a working knowledge of analytic technologies (e.g. Alteryx, Altair, SAS, SQL, R, Python, Tableau, PowerBI, Adobe Analytics, Snowflake, etc.)
  • You know how to acquire data from multiple sources/environments and transform it so it can be used for analytics.
  • You have the ability to think on your feet and respond effectively when priorities change.
  • You strive to better communicate data through data visualization and storytelling.
