About Salesforce

Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn’t a buzzword — it’s a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.

Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You’re in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.

Salesforce is hiring an experienced, technical, and creative communications professional to support Slack, the agentic operating system for the Agentic Enterprise.

This isn't just a product comms role; it's a narrative leadership opportunity. You will be responsible for crafting the compelling perception of how Slack brings together humans, agents, apps, and data into the flow of work. We are looking for a passionate storyteller who is comfortable translating complex AI, data, and platform technologies into agenda-setting stories for top-tier media.

The ideal candidate understands the enterprise technology landscape and can build and execute communications activities that advance broader business goals. This person will partner closely with senior executives across business, marketing, and product teams to define strategies and drive results that set Salesforce apart. An audience-first approach and a deep understanding of how AI elevates humans in the flow of work are musts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead communications programs for Slack, aligning them with the overarching Salesforce narrative and business objectives.

  • Serve as a trusted partner to senior executives and stakeholders across Slack Product, Marketing, and the broader Salesforce organization.

  • Land agenda-setting stories that advance our corporate goals. Identify and drive media opportunities that showcase Slack as the agentic OS for the enterprise.

  • Translate complex product features (AI, agents, data, workflows) into clear, compelling narratives for external audiences.

  • Coordinate complex, high-visibility announcements for Slack, ensuring messaging alignment and maximizing impact.

  • Oversee and provide direction to external pr agency, ensuring its efforts are ambitious, aligned with objectives, and deliver measurable results.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in communications or public relations, with a strong preference for experience in enterprise technology.

  • A deep understanding of AI, data, and platform technologies. You must be able to dive in and become a true subject-matter expert.

  • Proven media relations expertise with strong, active relationships in business and tech-focused press.

  • Executive presence and the ability to confidently counsel senior leaders, partners, and top-tier reporters.

  • Excellent writing and communication skills, with a proven ability to craft executive-level messaging and turn complex concepts into compelling, human-centered stories.

  • Strong judgment, high adaptability, and the ability to turn on a dime as strategies and priorities shift. Must be able to build consensus across multiple groups and drive sustained impact.

  • No ego, high collaboration—willing to roll up sleeves, take on diverse tasks, and support the broader comms team as needed.
