The Team

Fidelity Wealth’s Cash Solutions business acquires, engages and grows customers of the future with innovative offerings and experiences, including Cash Management Accounts, Lending, Credit / Debit Cards, Health Savings, 529 and Disability Savings. Our vision is to expand the role Fidelity can play for our customers in saving and spending, by offering innovative capabilities to serve the needs of new and existing customers.

This is an opportunity to join the Strategy & Business Operations team within the Cash Solutions domain. Our team is responsible for developing, evolving, and communicating our strategy, primarily relying on our capabilities in business analytics, market insights and competitive intelligence. In addition, we are responsible for strategic planning processes for the domain, from enterprise and Fidelity Wealth-level planning to internal domain routines.

The Role

You will collaborate with the rest of the team and product owners across Cash Solutions to lead or support strategic programs, by: defining problem statements, conducting research and analysis to identify opportunities and design solutions, and making and communicating recommendations. Additionally, you will support Cash Solution’s strategic planning efforts, including internal domain routines and broader Fidelity and Wealth planning (e.g., QBR, QTR, scorecards, MYP).

Key responsibilities can include:

  • Supporting strategic initiatives across the domain, including shorter term and opportunistic projects

  • Partnering with our analytics team to turn data insights into opportunities and recommendations

  • Understanding the needs and problems of our customers, by partnering with our customer research team to conduct surveys, interviews, and focus groups

  • Collaborating with other teams across the enterprise to gather necessary information to complete analysis and to drive projects

  • Evaluating the competitive landscape to understand potential differentiation

  • Driving and supporting key aspects of the strategy development life cycle, including business case development

  • Packaging and communicating insights to a broad audience (from senior leaders to associates) in an engaging and accessible way

  • Supporting strategic planning process to ensure organizational alignment and progress towards multi-year goals

  • Developing agendas for Domain meetings and executive touchpoints, ensuring the Cash Solutions team is focused on the highest-priority topics to drive the business forward

  • Collaborating on strategic planning initiatives with other internal groups (e.g., Finance, CKSI)

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 8+ years proven experience or MBA or equivalent Master’s degree in quantitative field and 6+ years of proven experience (focus in strategy and/or consulting preferred)

  • Experience developing materials for senior-level audiences

  • Strong project management and organization skills

  • Analytical experience, including ability to distill insights into a compelling story

  • Interpersonal skills and experience working cross-functionally (e.g., across Technology, Marketing, Analytics); strong listening skills to integrate different perspectives and achieve better outcomes

  • Agile mindset: ability to work in a dynamic and ambiguous environment, and across multiple stakeholder groups

  • A positive attitude and opportunity mentality

Fidelity’s hybrid working model blends the best of both onsite and offsite work experiences. Working onsite is important for our business strategy and our culture. We also value the benefits that working offsite offers associates. Most hybrid roles require associates to work onsite every other week (all business days, M-F) in a Fidelity office.
