Job Description:

Position Description: 

 

Generates analytical insights to drive business actions, using analytical tools and techniques -- SQL, Python, and R. Designs and develops dashboards using Tableau, Power BI, and Qlik. Performs digital analytics using Adobe analytics. Sets visions, goals, and direction of the team and the organization. Analyzes, manipulates, and processes large sets of data using statistical software. Analyzes datasets to obtain valuable insights and applies data management and data modeling practices to build data solutions. 

 

Primary Responsibilities: 

 

  • Develops and drives strategic analytical initiatives with a focus on business use cases and customer needs. 

  • Serves in an Agile inter-disciplinary team using analytics, engineering and data science to optimize and personalize the customer experience. 

  • Improves product offerings using analytical techniques and data sources, including customer behavior and business financial data. 

  • Supports democratization of data among business partners. 

  • Creates self-serve data visualization tools that enable business decision making. 

  • Improves data analytics and insights capabilities. 

  • Shares data analytics and insight capabilities throughout the organization using Adobe analytics. 

  • Creates graphs, charts, or other visualizations to convey the results of data analysis using specialized software. 

  • Identifies business problems or management objectives that can be addressed through data analysis. 

  • Collaborates within cross-functional teams. 

 

Education and Experience: 

 

Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Business Administration, Business Analytics, Project Management, Information Technology, Information Technology and Management, Engineering, or a closely related field and five (5) years of experience as a Senior Manager, Advanced Data Analytics and Insights (or closely related occupation) answering business stakeholder questions related to customer profiling, journey analytics, or initiatives driving digitization, using disparate customer interaction data. 

 

Or, alternatively, Master’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Business Administration, Business Analytics, Project Management, Information Technology, Information Technology and Management, Engineering, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience as a Senior Manager, Advanced Data Analytics and Insights (or closely related occupation) answering business stakeholder questions related to customer profiling, journey analytics, or initiatives driving digitization, using disparate customer interaction data. 

 

Skills and Knowledge: 

 

Candidate must also possess: 

 

  • Demonstrated expertise (“DE”) providing analytical and consulting support to identify operational efficiency and product enhancements opportunities using voice of customer (web, phone, and live channel), transactional (financial or non-financial), and behavioral (emotion and sentiment) data to convey executive-level gap analysis and propose solutions in senior stakeholder presentations within Microsoft Suite (PowerPoint and Excel PivotTables). 

  • DE extracting and connecting data across warehouses using Oracle SQL, Python/R, and Snowflake; translating business requirements into technical validations for performance initiative measurements; and generating on-demand, real-time insights within Tableau, Qlik, and Power BI self-service interactive dashboards. 

  • DE identifying and interpreting existing gaps in data availability and articulating roadmaps and justification for the prioritization of short and long-term data migrations using analytical tools and platforms -- Snowflake and Elastic Kibana – to make available customer data intended for business intelligence. 

  • DE uncovering emerging customer pain points, measuring downstream impact to business initiatives, quantifying relative opportunity size, and proposing solutions (policy updates, and experience enhancements and automation) using structured and unstructured customer data (channel engagement and customer feedback).
